Welcome to Blackpool Zoo

We have over 1000 animals, including mammals, reptiles, invertebrates and birds, and make a great day out for all the family. We have natural, themed enclosures, and some fantastic events, such as:

• Birthday Party - Have your birthday party here with some great games, a great party host in a great location
• Keeper Kids – For kids aged 8 to 11 years old, this two day course will get them interacting with some great animals, and learning about how the keepers at the zoo look after them.
• Blackpool Zookeeper Academy - A great course to do, this is run over 10 sessions, with over 30 hours of practical experience up close with lots of different animals. Aimed at people who want to have a career with animals, this is an amazing experience that may help with someone’s future career.
• Zoo-to-You- If you can´t come to the zoo, they can come to you! With some great animals, this is a great idea for all kinds of groups who can’t make it to the zoo.

We are also a great place to bring school groups and hold education sessions, and enjoy a fun and informative day out.
