Introduction

Crystal Yacht Charter have a fleet of modern and well equipped 36 and 37 Bavaria yachts, perfect for exploring the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.

We aim to take the stress and hassle out of your cruise, providing you with our local knowledge and route advice so you can make the most of your trip, relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Sailing Area and Location

We are located in the picturesque Craobh Haven, which offers you access to the many inland sea lochs and islands of the Scottish West Coast. Islands such as Jura, Islay, Gigha and Tobermory are all easily accessible by yacht.

Craobh Haven provides many local amenities such as a cafe, restaurants and bars, and a local shop. It is conveniently located, and is approximately just a two hour drive from Glasgow and it´s international airport, as well as the road and rail links that Glasgow provides to the rest of the UK.

Craobh Haven is also just 14 miles south of Oban. Known as the ´Gateway to the Isles´, Oban is another area of great beauty, and also offers excellent links to other areas of the West Coast.

During certain periods of the season we also operate from Largs and Mallaig, also on the West Coast.

Skippered Charters

We have a team of professional skippers who are available to help with your trip and chosen route. They will not dictate a route to you, but are on hand to provide their expert knowledge and advice on your chosen route. There is also the option of the skipper taking you on a general cruise, allowing you to relax and feel free of the need to plan a route.

In addition to this, a skipper can also be a useful way to improve your own sailing. Observe their techniques, as well as their skills in looking for potential problems. Even just having a skipper for the first day of your cruise can relieve some of the stress, and leave you free to settle into your trip.

Our Yachts

The West Coast offers beautiful islands and bays for you to explore in one of our comfortable and seaworthy Bavaria yachts.

All our yachts are less than 33 years old, and are fully equipped to fufil MCA Catergory 2 Certifcation. On board you will find chart plotters, DSC radios and safety equipment, as well as cabin heating, so you can travel safely and comfortably.

The 36s provide pleasant accomodation for up to 8 people. On these yachts you will find three double cabins and two single berths in the salon, as well as hot water, a shower, and a cool box with plenty of storage space.
