Founded in 2018 by Karen and Jonathan, Stoked Watersports started on the South Coast, providing people of all ages and abilities with unforgettable adventures and skills for life.

The company has thrived since then, helping to bring families and friends closer together through a shared love for adventure, having fun and learning new skills, which have seen us expand and bring our variety of activities to what we believe is the crown jewel of Cumbria, Lake Windermere.

Located near Ulverston, our base is within the National Trust's spectacular Fell Foot Park, a hotbed of stunning sights and natural wonders that are a joy to witness from the calm waters of Windermere.

You can embark on all kinds of adventures at Fell Foot, so we are sure we will have something for you; our activities include:

For all the wonderful watersports, we offer hires that include all the necessary equipment to embark on a fun but also safe expedition, which will be insured by our team of experienced instructors who will be on hand to guide you with expert insights and help sharpen your skills.

We began offering our services to people of all ages and abilities when our founders, Karen and Jonathan, started the company in the Summer of 2018.

Initially, we only offered hire services for our equipment in Hampshire, but we have also grown and perfected our activities. We now provide a variety of activities, including SUP at Fell Foot, which is on the Southern tip of England's largest lake and one of its most magical, Lake Windermere.

Lake Windermere boasts magnificent mountain views and enough space for endless adventures and unforgettable experiences; it is the perfect setting deep in nature for learning to paddle and having fun with friends away from the stresses of everyday life.

From our base within the National Trust's Fell Foot Park, we can supply top-quality paddle boards and all the kit you need to hit the water. Paddling at Lake Windermere is a great excuse to bond with family and embark on an adventure with friends.

Don't worry if you find paddle boarding daunting or have no abilities. Our team of passionate instructors will welcome you warmly, beginner or not, reassure you with a briefing before you head off, and provide expert insights through your journey to make you feel safe and confident.

With our paddleboard hires, you can also access the Active Base facility at Fell Foot, where you can use the high-end facilities to shower and change after a tiring day of paddling and having fun.

Uniting people was one of the main reasons our founders Karen and Jonathan created Stoked Watersports, and it remains at the core of everything we do; having such a spectacular location to explore makes it easy to convince people that this is the ultimate escape from the stress of life and a passion for kayaking is worth having.

You can join our team of friendly coaches at Fell Foot which is on the southern tip of the lake and is the ideal starting point for any adventure, the calm environment is the perfect starting place for learning to kayak, and we will provide all the necessary equipment.

We are pretty flexible with our hires, so we offer single and double kayaks to suit your desired experience. We will help you get geared up with the proper safety kit and talk you through the basic techniques and best ways to use the equipment throughout your journey.

Our hire also gives you unique access to the Active Base facility at Fell Foot, where you can change and shower.

In the Summer of 2018, we started on the South Coast, and people of all ages and abilities were able to enjoy exciting water expeditions with their families and friends thanks to our founders Karen and Jonathon, along with all of our passionate team here at Stoked Watersports.

After several years of creating memories for more and more people in Hampshire, we decided to take our services to the National Trust's Fell Foot Park, located within England's largest and most spectacular lake.

Rowing in the Lake District is always a delight, but Windermere boasts particularly breathtaking views and the perfect conditions for an adventure you will love, and our passionate team of coaches will ensure you will be more than satisfied with lifelong memories by catering to your needs and tailoring the session for your group.

Our traditional rowing boats take you back in time to when people peacefully paddled across the lake enjoying the stunning scenery in the 19th century and they can still do so now because of our service.

At 12ft long, our boats can hold up to 4 people, so they are perfect for a family day out, and exciting escapade with friends or a romantic getaway with your partner.

Heading out onto the water may seem daunting, but our staff will brief and prepare you by providing expert instructions and all the necessary equipment so all your needs will be met, and it will be time to have fun and make memories.
