Welcome to Sheffield Canoe Club

We are a fantastic club that has been established since for over 40 years. We are a friendly club and welcome anyone who loves

  • Kayaking
  • Canoeing
  • White water kayaking

When you join the club, you will be able to join in the many activities that we offer, such as getting involved in our excellent pool sessions to practice techniques and skills in the off season, access to kayaking and other equipment, as well as insurance. (Always important!) If you are thinking of joining, but not quite sure, you can take out a temporary membership for the day for up to three times before needing to join. Come and have a paddle with them – the club equipment is available for you to use. Welcome to Sheffield Canoe Club Kayaking

If you are looking to start a new activity in order to get fit and have some fun, why not try Kayaking? Kayaking is a really fun sport to start anew with, and with the Sheffield Canoe Club you will soon find yourself improving your skills in this great sport. If you would like to try some white water rafting or some white water kayaking, Sheffield Canoe Club is the club to join. At times, the river where they train can become an excellent place to do this fun activity. Suitable for people with skill and experience in this type of thing, the coaches on hand will make a judgement about whether or not the water level and grade is suitable for your skills and experience. White water rafting or kayaking is challenging, but lots of fun. You can also use the clubs equipment if you don’t have your own.
