Welcome to Norwich Canoe Club

We are a friendly and welcoming flatwater kayak racing club, and one of the top racing clubs in the country. We welcome new members of all abilities, and welcome individuals, groups of friends, and families, anyone who is interested in canoeing and kayaking! Our members range from aged 7 to 70 so we also welcome a wide range of ages!

If you are a beginner our Introduction to Kayaking sessions are perfect for you, and will teach you the skills you need to get you paddling with a group. Our coaching staff are experienced, qualified and professional, and provide a welcoming and safe environment in which to learn. They are also all CRB checked and first aid trained.

We can provide all of the equipment you need including:

• Different sizes of buoyancy aids, including smaller ones for those under 12.
• Kayaks
• Paddles
• Junior lighting kayaks
• And everything else you'll need!

We also have specially adapted canoes and kayaks for disabled people, should they need them.

We take part in competitions, but also have many member who don´t want to compete, and just enjoy paddling with friends. We sometimes organise trips to other parts of The Broads for a relaxing and picturesque trip out on the water.
