Let us introduce ourselves. We are The Northside Surf School, a family business in the town of Amble, Northumberland.

Since we are based in Amble, we have easy access to the beautiful northeast coast, providing a great range of locations for you to enjoy this thrilling experience. Some of these fantastic locations include Bamburgh, Warkworth Bay and Druridge Bay, and many more places!

We are a team of passionate teachers that want nothing but to share our love for surfing and stand up paddle boarding with you. We are also passionate, qualified and certified teachers to keep you safe during your lessons.

Don’t worry if you feel like you are a beginner in either surfing or stand up paddle boarding. We tailor all our lessons according to your level of experience, so we have that covered. We also provide you with the equipment needed to perform these sports.

For all surf lovers or wishing to learn how to surf, we want to wish you a warm welcome to the Northside Surf School.

We are a team of certified and qualified surf enthusiasts located in Amble, Northumberland. Our location can't get any more perfect because it includes places like Warkworth Bay, Druridge Bay, and Bamburgh to practice your surfing techniques.The best thing is that you get to choose from all these fantastic places where you want to ride the waves.

Some of our team members have traveled around the world to countries like Costa Rica, Australia, and Lanzarote to test the waters. Trust us when we are telling you that we love and know so much about this beautiful and healthy sport. That's why we are so excited to teach you all about surf, from the basics to the cool tricks.

You have the option of having individual or group lessons. Regarding the group lessons, the minimum number of people required is three, and the maximum number is sixteen.

No matter your surf knowledge, our lessons are focused on you and finding ways to improve your techniques.

The equipment we provide for you in every lesson includes the surfboard and the wetsuit.
