From working as a school teacher and forest school leader, equipping many young people with important school and unforgettable experiences, to guiding adventures through the Amazon and more amazing locations worldwide.

Our founder and owner is just one leading example of our sheer expertise and experience, allowing us to form the ultimate adventure introducing new people of all experience levels to new exhilarating activities.

Our Founder, Tom Sargeant, is a leader not just by name but by example, his journey as an instructor leading and guiding a range of activities, all of which he is well qualified in, began in 2007. Like many of our other specialist guides, Tom has many talents, as he is a qualified mountain leader, rock-climbing instructor, canoe coach and sailing instructor. He has led many an expedition both at home and worldwide, so his knowledge and experience are vast, but his passion for sharing his love for outdoor activities with young people is even greater.

It's personalities like this that have moulded our premium sessions, with specialist guides in all activities, just like Matt Dingley, our expert in ghyll scrambling and canyoning. His vast experience scrambling worldwide and leading many adventures in places like New Zealand lets you know you are in the best hands.

We lead our thrilling Lake District adventures from the popular Stoneycroft Ghyll near Keswick and gorge walking in the Esk gorge; we know and love these areas so well, and so will you.

Since 2007, Tom has gained multiple qualifications and built experience in several exciting outdoor activities working as a guide and instructor. His work as a leader spans from teaching in a school and leading forest adventures in England to guides all over the globe through the likes of the Amazon and more.

Also, his leadership skills know no bounds, from guiding the youth as a school teacher and forest school leader on home turf to guiding all over the globe through the Amazon and the Headhunters Trail in Borneo.

Tom has led guides worldwide, including in the Amazon and Borneo, but also as a school teacher and forest leader passionate about teaching and guiding adventurers, young and old.

All of our qualified instructors have years of experience, like Tom and incredible expertise that we use to teach you some basic navigation skills and more while providing historical insights as we travel across the majestic mountains so you will learn some tales of these breathtaking lands and first-hand experience of their beauty.
