For people who know how to sail already, why not join and take advantage of the ideal sailing waters, or the RYA Power Boat Level 2 course?  

The RYA Bower Boat Level course 2 consists of all you will need to know for powerboating at a basic level while being self-sufficient. The course involves you learning how to launch, moor and anchor your boat as well as how to recover and all the boat driving skills you need for basic competence.

There are courses for both Adults and Children. For Adults, the courses are;

• Dinghy Level 1 – A three day course, be introduced to sailing with this course.
• Dinghy Level 2 – Over three days you should have a basic knowledge of sailing without an instructor in light winds. Also includes safety knowledge.
• Dingy Level 3 – Lasting for three days, consolidate the skils you have from level one and two, and enable you to sail without an instructor in light to moderate conditions.

The Junior (under 16´s) training program consists of;

• Dingy Stage 1 – Gain a basic understanding of how to sail. (3 days)
• Dingy Stage 2 – Over 3 days be on your way to becoming a confident small boat sailor.
• Dinghy Stage 3 – For 3 days learn how to rig, launch and sail in any direction. This is equivalent to the Adult Level 2 course.
• Dinghy Stage 4 – Learn to sail a double handed boat as crew and solve problems that may appear. Course lasts for three days.

Liverpool Sailing Club has started a new incentive to boost outside water sport activities in Merseyside, and is encouraging Windsurfers to join the club and take advantage of it´s great facilities.
