We operate in Plymouth, in a beautiful costal spot. Our instructors are skilled and enthusiastic; they take pleasure in seeing students improve and gain more self-confidence in the water.

We are a fully endorsed RYA training centre and consider their disciplines very important; all voyages are conducted to the most exacting standards of safety and competence using the latest boating models and equipment.

In addition to our training courses, we also offer a variety of adventure packages such as a wide range of charter opportunities. If you are interested in organising a corporate event or birthday party we can custom design a special adventure day.

Everyone at Devon Powerboating is passionate about what they do; you are likely to find us on the water training if we are not working!

Devon Powerboating Jet Skiing provides jet ski hire as well as the RYA Jet Ski Course.

The training course is designed to teach you how to operate your jet ski safely, whilst having fun! It can be adapted to suit those with no previous experience as well as those who have more experience jet skiing.

The certificate is internationally recognised! It can help reduce your jet ski insurance and is required by many jet ski hire centres before they let you on the water.

The topics covered include:

• Speed control
• Falling off and remounting
• Righting a capsize
• Buoy identification
• Collision avoidance
• Towing a PWC
• Rope work

We also enable you to hire jet skis for recreational purposes.

The Jet Ski Taster offers you the opportunity to try jet skiing for the first time under the guidance of an experienced RYA instructor. They will show you what a jet ski is capable of!

The Jet Ski Adventure offers a more detailed jet skiing session that includes familiarising yourself with your jet ski as you speed across the open water!

Devon Powerboating Powerboating are adrenalin packed! We offer you the opportunity to undertake a fast ride around the beautiful Plymouth Sound.

Our trips last approximately 30 minutes and you will experience:

• spectacular views
• high speed turns
• blasts across the open water…

It is great fun and suitable for everyone. We also cater for group bookings of up to 11 passengers.

Our Devon Duck high speed boat has all the latest safety equipment and you will be provided with a fully automatic life jacket.
