Welcome to Country Experiences Canoeing in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria.

Our Canadian canoes are designed for 1 - 3 people. They were originally developed by native people worldwide and commonly used by the fur trappers and Indians of North America for exploration and travel.

Canoeing provides you with a unique opportunity to get closer to nature. Explore the many lakes and rivers of Cumbria in our modern day crafts. It is a serene, peaceful and sometimes exciting activity depending on the water conditions.

We tailor our courses and activities individually for your pleasure and enjoyment.

Welcome to Country Experiences Kayaking in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria.

For those that didn´t know, kayaks are self-propelled watercrafts with a cockpit. You use a double bladed paddle in order to move through the water. They were originally designed by the Eskimos!

Discover the different methods of moving your kayak around the natural waters of our location, whilst exploring the beauty of the environment. There are many hidden wildlife gems to see, including:

• Ospreys
• Deer

At Country Experiences Canyoning you can expect to climb up and/or down a mountain stream. It is one of our most popular events and includes:

The Lakeland freshwater will get your adrenalin pumping!

Each canyoning session is tailored to meet the needs of the people involved.

It is a fun, wet and wild experience that is designed with water babies in mind. What´s more, it is the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer´s day!

At Country Experiences Climbing, rock climbing is one of our most popular outdoor activities. It provides a real challenge and buzz once you reach the top!

What´s more, our location is ideal as the Lake District provides a range of different ability crags to climb. We select the crags that best suit your ability.

Our overall aim is for you to have fun and enjoy being in the great outdoors. You will be coached by qualified instructors that work hard to build up your confidence and skill throughout the day.

You may also include abseiling as part of your rock climbing package.

At Country Experiences Archery we are passionate about this traditional sport once practised by Kings & Queens as a recreational activity, not forgetting Robin Hood!

We have a long history of archery in Britain, which proved crucial in many famous battles.

Our aim is to take you through the equipment usage in a fun, friendly and relaxed manner. We want you to enjoy your time on our purpose built archery range complete with longbows. We have traditional archery targets to target at!

Welcome to Country Experiences Abseiling. You will find us in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, which is ideal for abseiling.

Our abseiling sessions can be combined with rock climbing or you can treat abseiling as a single activity.

You control your destiny at your own pace at Country Experiences Abseiling! It can be quite overwhelming looking down from a little crag ledge and the next step is to lean back into your harness and rope. Our qualified instructors will provide you with the support required to complete your descent.
