Cardiff International White Water

Cardiff International White Water, or (CIWW) as we are also known, is an outdoor activity provider for exhilarating water sports and land activities! We are based on the Bay Edge walkway, right on the bank of the rapids. Our location is also just a stone´s throw away the River Ely and River Taff and oodles of brilliant sites for water activities along the stunning coast of Wales.

We offer training for those new to these sports, and our coaches have qualifications from BCU, Wales Canoe and we have a long list of courses for paddlers looking to become certified. Welcome to our paddling school at Cardiff International White Water Canoeing. Based in Cardiff, we have access to rivers like the River Ely and River Taff, not to mention the stunning Welsh coast!

We offer our paddle school for those wishing to take up canoeing. Our qualified and helpful coaches (as certified by the BCU and Canoe Wales) will show you the correct paddling techniques which will make you a confident paddler. We also have an extensive list of BCU Awards programs on offer from introductory courses to coaching courses and Paddlepower courses which are aimed at young paddlers.

At our venue we happily cater to groups from Hen and Stag dos, Corporate and Teambuilding events, birthdays, school and colleges or adventure days for families and friends. Open from 9 to 5 most days we stay open late Wednesdays and Fridays for some added fun!

Cardiff International White Water Canyoning! Our location in Cardiff means that we have stunning gorges nearby that are perfect for canyoning, or gorge walking as it´s also known. This fantastic wet and wild adventure consists in scrambling, traversing, sliding, jumping and swimming in scenic gorges! This activity is the splash of adrenaline you are looking for.

We offer more than just canyoning! We have a long list of thrilling outdoor activity we provide onsite or locally! Welcome to Cardiff International White Water Rafting, the ultimate place for white water rafting and anything related! Located right in the heart of Cardiff, we offer you the unique opportunity to raft down a river of rapids right here in the city!

Rafting is an extremely social and exhilarating activity which is why we groups like Hen and Stag dos, Corporate and Teambuilding events, birthdays, school trips or just friends and family looking for fun!
Our rafting adventures are usually 2 hour long sessions and our brilliant coaches and qualified and encouraging during the whole experience. We have everything from the classic raft to River Boarding and Hot Dogging as well as multiple other water and land activities.

Located a stone´s throw from the coast, we offer surfing on stunning Welsh coast and loads of other exciting water activities! Who needs to go to Hawaii for surfing when you have it right here at home!

Our centre is a brilliant venue for accommodating groups of all types from school and colleague trips, Hen and Stag dos, Corporate and Teambuilding events, adult and children birthdays or friends and family looking for some adventure! All of our coaches are qualified and experience and great fun when teaching you how to get up on the board!

We have been doing a great recompilation of SUP games, tutors and equips. The location is very special: River Ely. The resources, the variety of fishes and the historical antecedents of this river will keep your mouth open. 

Inside the Cardiff Bay you can spend 2 hours paddling. Create a new balance and alignment between your body points of energy. Keep your stability with a personal style. The oversized board is the fist paddle above the water.

It is like a storm of a new world to discover. Your specialization of SUP depends just on you: Girls courses, Taster hours, and the middle week evenings sessions and the best of the best, BCU instructor course.

We like to reduce the people of every course to 4. The practicing time have to be high in quality and not too much quantity. See your reflection and the river and find who really you are when you paddle.

This is an exercise is a good confronted with the wildlife and the adventure spirit. It also is to face to term like: volume of the paddle, doming, tail, foam boards and more!
