Our vessel, the Volsung was built in 2000 especially with a range of charter experiences in mind, we are able to  provide passage for up to 12 persons and offer charters such as diving, fishing and scenic and wildlife watching trips.

This 10 and a half metre long vessel is fully equipped with large cabin space for comfort, a full galley and WC so no matter what you are planning, you can be sure you will be comfortable.

We at Broadside Diving offer a great opportunity for more experienced divers to take on some of the amazing dive locations on our front doorstep.

Skomer Island is like a magnet for divers with the pristine marine reserve and the MV Lucy, a 40 metre long cruiser in near perfect condition at a depth of 41 metres, provides fantastic diving for the more experienced diver. We can also take you to a great many other diving locations around the islands of Milford Haven, some of which are known haunts of seals, dolphins and porpoises and Smalls Lighthouse, well known as the best diving location in Pembrokeshire.

These amazing waterway offers a strong contrast, from the huge tankers pulling into the oil and LNG terminals to the idealistic and tranquil havens for a great variety of wildlife up river.

Some of the wildlife you may encounter includes a great range of sea birds like Guillemots, Razorbills, Puffins and Shearwaters, this region is also home to over 65,000 gannets who use Grassholm as a breeding ground. In the water you can expect to see seals, porpoises and dolphins playing about in the faster currents surrounding the islands.

Depending on the time of year and conditions we can choose from a variety of locations like the sand banks of Milford Haven, just off the coast of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm islands and the reefs just out from Smalls Lighthouse.

We have a wealth of fish species in this part of the world, everything from bass, cod, coalfish, mackerel, dabs, spurdog, thornback turbot, blonde ray and tope, so not matter your level of ability or experience, we will be able to tailor your experience to suit you and your group.
