Adventure Bay

Adventure Bay is a fabulous Outdoor activity provider based in scenic Whitsand Bay, at what is known as the “Forgotten Corner”. Open year round, we offer professional Surfing lessons and coasteering adventures along the scenic sands of the Cornish coast.

Our fun and challenging surf lessons can be geared to all levels of surfer and we work with beginners through to advanced. All training is carried out by experienced and qualified coaches and we are hugely successful in getting first time surfers up on their feet in the first lesson. we always aim to keep numbers down and our student to instructor ratio is never more than 8:1 and for those of you looking for a more personal touch, we run private 1:1 sessions daily.

We have a great range of equipment hire including toasty winter wetsuits, gloves, boots and a surf board or bodyboard to suit most surfers. Board and suit special available for half a day or full day.

Our Coasteering experiences are half day, adrenaline soaked sessions that take place at Whitsand Bay with alternative sites at Torquay, and Newquay and are perfect if you are looking for a mind blowing group adventure. Don't let the fear of a few jumps put you off, this is just one small aspect of coasteering. We've got caves, gullies, tunnels and our resident seal, Sydney. Our sessions have been extensively tried and tested by hundreds of families and happy customers of all ages and all of our instructors are qualified coasteer guides and beach lifeguards. Cost per person is only £40 and includes all equipment hire.

Both activities come with bolt on media package options so you can take away still photos and film footage shot in stunning High Definition.

Adventure Bay Surfing offers surfing at the scenic location of Whitsand Bay in Cornwall at what is known as the “Forgotten Corner”.
