Welcome to A2sea Marine

We are a family business based in Southampton offering high quality boat services. Our services include powerboating and sailing courses, and boat charters. Most of our courses operate from our location at Hythe Marina Village in Hythe.

We are an RYA recognised sea school, and have a wealth of experience in training. We offer a wide range of RYA courses, including powerboat, motor crusing and theory courses. We have a classroom at Hythe Marina, and hold practical courses on one of our vessels. We can also offer tuition on your own boat.

Our Fleet

We have a 33ft Blyth Commercial Catarmaran, Anchorman, and a 7.5m Ribtec, Bionic Banana, which has been recently been refitted to a very high standard. Enzo, is our 40ft Sunseeker Portofino.

We are a family business based in Southampton offering high quality boat services. We offer short harbour tours around Southampton aboard our Blyth 33 Catamaran, Anchorman. We are based at Hythe Marina Village in Hythe.

Our Fleet

Our Trips

All of our boat trips are skippered, and we provide a friendly and professional service. Mike Lawrence, your skipper, has a wealth of experience and will make sure your trip is a comfortable and safe one whilst you take in the beautiful scenery.

Welcome to A2sea Marine Powerboating

We are a family business based in Southampton offering high quality boat services. Our services include powerboating tuition operating from our location at Hythe Marina Village in Hythe.

We offer 2 powerboat courses:

Powerboat Level 1
This course is a great introduction for beginners, which will take you through everyday boat handling, safety equipment, as well as boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer.

Powerboat Level 2
This is a two-day course which will give you the skills and knowledge needed to drive a powerboat, and will take you through high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and collision . This course is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.
