The Trent Powerboat & Ski Club, also known as the T.P.S.C. operates on four stretches of the River Trent between Nottingham and Newark. It is a boat owning members club that welcomes all people who have a love for Waterskiing. Boats allowed in the club, at the discretion of the Safety Officer, must be of GRP construction and of a length which allows safe use on the river for turning, the wake produced, and mooring space required.
PWC's are not allowed on the water. All boats must be fitted with a jack plug ie engine quick release shut off. On board should be a First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher and a working horn/siren/audible warning device. At all times when towing, a competent observer, in addition to the driver must be in the boat.
