Welsh Surfing Federation Surf School

Welsh Surfing Federation Surf School is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1981, that aims to promote surfing in Whales. They are the only surf school based in Llangennith and have both male and female instructors on staff. They use Swell surfboards, which are perfect for beginners because they are large and buoyant. Wetsuits are also available for lessons during the colder months of the year. Lessons are two hours long and offered twice a day. Instructors are:

• Certified Surfing GB or International Surfing Association coaches
• Beach Lifeguards
• Have enhanced CRB checks

Lessons are for all ages. A normal day of lessons consist of, arriving at the school, getting fitted with a wetsuit and board, learn about safety, learn basics on sand, head into the water to attempt surfing, lunch, and more surfing.
