And the biggest kids, that is, teens and adults over 14 years old, can get their hands on 125cc and 150cc Yamaha and Kymco models.

It’s not just the choice of vehicle that varies with age. Track riding, with smoother surfaces, more predictable conditions, and some crash barriers is an option for riders of any age, but to have a go at the 12 kilometre trail in Tenby, all members of the group need to be over 11 years old.

The team have over 30 years of experience in the world of quad bikes, so they know how to make everyone have a great time. One of the main ways that they do this is by treating each group individually. There’s no chance of them splitting your group up, or putting strangers in your quad squad. Kids groups are catered for, with any child celebrating their 6th to 13th birthday eligible for a special treat. In general, the maximum group size is 6 riders, in the company of 2 instructors, but you can bring up to 12 people, though they might be divided into 2 teams.

What do you need to bring the day of the experience?

Bring the right attitude! This activity isn’t for wimps,and the more enthusiasm that you put in, the more fun you’ll get out. The team will give you some equipment to help you enjoy thor installations - a helmet, a set of overalls and wellington boots. These will help you rev the engine and blast through the mud with a smile on your face.

However, in the chaos of a quad bike ride, even overalls won’t protect you from every splash. That’s why you should turn up at the site in appropriate clothes. Old athletic gear or outdoor clothes are best, and you should avoid anything tight fitting.
