Chichester Sea School

Chichester Sea School is a fully recognised Royal Yachting Association powerboat training centre, located on the south coast of England. With easy access to the Solent, Chichester offers one of the most beautiful locations for boating, with superb facilities and a wide range of locations to help you develop your skills.  We provide the full range of RYA powerboat courses and shore-based courses for VHF marine radio.

We have a range of powerboats for you to learn on, all of which provide the perfect platform from which to hone your skills. In amongst the time on the water and in the classroom, you will learn vital skills and knowledge that will keep you and others safe out on the water so you can enjoy a range of Watersports for years to come!

From beginners to advanced, we run day and night courses covering the full RYA syllabus for powerboating. Our Instructors are all boat owners,  and pride themselves in making sure you have a calm and enjoyable learning experience. There is a maximum of three students on all water based courses.   

Chichester is easily accessible by road and just over an hour's drive from London. We can recommend places to stay in the area. For those arriving by train, we can arrange a pick up for you and your group.
