This part of the Celtic coast is a great place to get away from the city for a few days and enjoy some peace and quiet while doing some stand up paddling. In Bude, visit Millok Beach, Widemouth Bay, and Black Rock, perfect places for stand up paddleboarding.

- The Gannel Estuary: This beautiful river, which runs from Newquay to Crantock Beach, is one of the best places to go SUPing. It is known for its extraordinarily tranquil and crystal clear waters. - Portreath: in Cornwall's northwestern corner, we find this town where we can highlight a one-of-a-kind and very special site to perform this sport. This is the place to go if you want to paddle with the best views of the cliffs as you will see a contrast of colours! The green hue of the hills and the turquoise blue of the waves will stun you!

You might even come across the area's resident marine seals and dolphins while canoeing. You'll reach the special location we mentioned if you travel a little further down the coast. This is Ralph's Cupoboard, a sea cave that collapsed and now has a beach inside it, and we're not going to tell you anything else so you can see for yourself.

- Sennen Cove: Famous for its incredible surf, this Cornish fishing community transforms into one of the country's most stunning places when the weather improves. Paddle surfing at Sennen Cove in the south is a one-of-a-kind experience. You will paddle alongside seals that live in a nearby sea cave while enjoying the wildlife on your board.

- Porthcurno Beach: If you want to feel like you're on a tropical island while doing your favourite sport, this is the place. Porthcurno's white sands and azure waves will confirm that this is one of Cornwall's most stunning sites. Paddle out to Logan Rock and take in the rock formations and coves you'll see along the way.

- Porthallow, the Lizard: For skilled stand-up paddleboarders, we recommend this Cornish resort. Set sail from one of the shingle beaches and enjoy a session of your favourite sport while enjoying the rock formations' magnificence. If you're up for it, we recommend visiting Porthoustock, which is solely for the brave and where, according to folklore, more than 200 ships have been wrecked on this 'quiet' stretch of coast.

- St. Michaels Mount: Regardless of your level of skill, you can hire a paddleboard or join a guided trip with a professional teacher to have one of the most memorable experiences of your life. Sail from Marazion Beach to this beautiful island with a magnificent 14th-century castle. This is a popular destination for families looking for coastal places to enjoy aquatic sports with their children.

- Carbis Bay: This beautiful bay is well protected, making paddleboarding safe. This makes it an excellent area to take the kids, but we don't recommend venturing too far away from the beach because the wind can become more exposed. We recommend paddling out to St. Ives or paddling out to the towering cliffs of Porthkidney Sands if you want spectacular scenery while paddling and cruising around the harbour.
