Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) has taken the world by storm and quickly risen as the world’s fastest-growing water sport. It’s the perfect way to unwind in nature, available to everyone – all ages and from all walks of life (and even dogs!) – and is an amazing blend of relaxation and adventure. Here are our top 5 reasons why you should try SUP in the UK!
1. It’s an amazing stress reliever
The tranquil nature of the water below, clear blue skies, and the gentle rocking of the current – SUP contains the perfect combination for utter relief. When you’re standing on a paddle board you can make the action all about yourself; go as fast as you want, as slow as you want, ride the waves or enjoy the views. We would suggest that the best conditions in order to do SUP would be a nice, comfortable temperature for when you are on – and in – the water. Not too hot and not too cold. Therefore, we say that the best time of the year would be late summer and throughout autumn, that way you can be sure to expect the perfect journey to relaxation!
