Our centre is perfectly situated to provide many and varied experiences. Furthermore, we work on the River Dee, which is not dependent on Dam releases and enables us to operate throughout the year.

Welcome to White Water Active Kayaking! If you are looking for an entry to kayaking or want to improve your paddling skills, we are the place to be.

Our centre has a grade 2 -3 river on its doorstep. Furthermore, the River Dee is not dependent on Dam releases, which enables us to teach throughout the year.

The stretch of water we use is that good most of our competitors come to us!

We work with professional kayaking instructors that have paddled in international competitions and we hope to pass their enthusiasm and skill on to you.

White Water Active Rafting is located in Llangollen, a little Welsh market town filled with things to see and do.

Our rafting experiences are varied. Discover:

The white water will get your adrenalin pumping and is a truly exhilarating experience. Your personal instructor will guide you safely down the rapids. No experience is required, just a great sense of adventure and fun.

We provide all the necessary safety equipment on the day including:

• appropriate footwear
• safety helmet

All you need to bring is yourself!

Our expert tuition combined with professional equipment will make you a crack shot in no time. We can introduce a competitive edge too by pitting you against your group members in a series of thrilling competitions.

We offer:

• Target Archery: The most familiar form of archery. It consists of shooting a given number of arrows at targets at a set distance.
• Field Archery: Takes place in woodland. You have to rely on judgement and instinct as the target distances are unmarked.

White Water Active Abseiling is a test of nerves. We hope you have a head for heights! You can expect to scale the ice sculpted limestone scarp of Eglwyseg, which towers over the Vale of Llangollen.

You will conquer your fear with help from our qualified abseiling instructors. The views make the activity unbeatable and you will come away with a huge sense of achievement.

When can you go?

All year round! Our indoor climbing centre makes up for those rainy days.

Get out on the rock and enjoy a session of climbing with us at White Water Active Climbing. Our climbing activity takes place in a stunning location where you will be able to climbing the limestone rock of Eglwyseg that hangs off the Vale of Llangollen, Valley Crucis Abbey all near the historical castle of Dinas Bran or at Trevor Rock and The Panorama.

Our climbing sessions are combined with abseiling as once you´ve reached the top you will be able to abseil all of the way down! Our experienced, qualified and friendly instructors will show you the ropes of climbing while providing you with a memorable day of outdoor adventure!

Come out and discover the fun of a wild Welsh gorge with White Water Active Canyoning. We will take you to Bwlch Gwyn, a fabulous gorge with craggy rocks, fast moving water and rich surrounding foliage for a scenic and exhilarating gorge walking experience.

Our canyoning experience consists in abseiling down waterfalls, scrambling over rocks and jumping into the crystal clear pools of pure mountain river water. This is a fabulous way to get away from it all and have an outdoor adventure you won´t soon forget.

This is a great group activity and a fabulous way to celebrate a special event such as a Hen or Stag do, Corproate or Teambuilding event, birthdays or just for an excuse for fun.
