With our 15 acres of stunning Herfordshire countryside to play in, TrailWorld offers a great range of off road adventure to people of all walks of life, only 25 minutes north of London!

We have some fantastic track set aside for motorbike enthusiasts, and in our quest to bring off road excitement to more and more people we also have great courses for our rugged, off road Segways and quad bikes. NB - Quads are only as part of multi activities for groups along with Archery and 4x4 driving and min age is 16.

This is a grand venue for your next special event such as Hen or Stag do or Teambuilding event!

Welcome to TrailWorld Segway

Segway is a hugely popular activity, and is suitable for anyone aged 14 or over. They stay upright unaided, and can take a little getting used to, but we haven´t had a customer yet who couldn't master one! And you´ll have fun whilst learning! They are a great ice breaker and perfect for a group day out, corporate days and team building.

We operate the off-road versions, which feature larger 'knobbly' tyres, and are capable of climbing hills, turning on the spot, and cope easily with bumpy, off-road terrain.

Standard Segway Session Format

First of all you will receive a demonstration and safety briefing, so you feel confident and comfortable before you start. We will provide you with the appropriate safety equipment, including elbow, helmet and knee protection.

Finding your balance can be difficult at first, but it will be fun! As you relax and get to grips with the Segway you will be slaloming through the cones like a pro!

Once you’re feeling confident and in full control of the Segway, we will head over to our off road circuit which features a more challenging course of twists, turns and climbs, even see-saws and ramps!

Throughout your session there will always be an experienced instructor on hand, who will be there to guide you and help you, and probably laugh as you get to grips with these crazy machines!
Session Details

A standard Segway experience lasts for 60 minutes, including training, kitting up and briefings.

This quad biking experience is an ideal team building/corporate event and involves an incredible obstacle course which will test the participant's handling of the vehicle to the limit whilst thoroughly enjoying themselves. Picking up and dropping tennis balls, hitting targets, See-saws, and chicanes are all part of the circuit and each one throws up a different challenge to the last.

This event - and our fully automatic quads - is suitable for beginners, but even those who have been on a quad bike activity before will find this to their liking, as this course will provide a fun challenge for anyone.

Easy to ride, helmets supplied, just jump on and enjoy the experience. Expect to get a bit muddy, so we don’t recommend you wear your Gucci’s!

Minimum age is 16 on quads and as part of a group of 4 or more people.

Session format for the competition.....

Our fantastic Quad experience is based on skill and agility. Organised into an “it’s a knockout” format, it’s a team and individual challenge, with Jokers played at special sections to double up on points.

The session begins with a short safety briefing from the expert instructors, who will also give you a brief introduction to the vehicles themselves. Drivers tackle a flat area first to get to grips with the quads before being let loose on the challenges - this is where the day gets interesting.

You will be led out onto the custom-designed Quad circuit by one of our instructors who will then set you a range of tasks to complete.

Just imagine trying to control a quad bike, while aiming a tennis ball into a basket, before immediately trying to turn a sharp corner, shoot a bullseye with our crossbow - and then straight into the next challenge.

Having got that out of the way, you'll then encounter even more competitive tasks to complete while riding. It’s a bit like Gymkhana on quads, if you’ve seen the Pony clubs challenge at the Horse of the Year show, you’ll have some idea of what you’re in for.

Being a low to mid speed track this is a very safe way to play, whilst testing your skill and having loads of fun. There’s a range of obstacles and challenges including, ramps, logs, tyres and railway sleepers to keep you on your toes.
