Canoes are amazingly stable and sturdy vessels and despite their appearance, are actually quite easy to control and get the hang of. Their sleekness and agility allows you to explore river banks and lakeshores. With some basic instruction, anyone can master canoeing in no time.

At The Wilderness Centre Canyoning come and have a go at an activity that takes a bit of nerve but is a complete thrill! Canyoning involves scaling and climbing river gorges while more often than not getting wet as you jump off cliffs and drops!

They run their canyoning adventures in two different gorges: Cwm Dyar and Dinas. They each offer different scenery and obstacles but each offers it´s dose of adrenaline!

With the basic resources provide, each team must construct a successfully floating raft which then will be raced against that of the other team. This is an exciting and dynamic activity for Teambuilding events, school groups or even Hen and Stag dos!

Climbing is an amazing activity that´s permits one to develop physical strength, confidence while dealing with what at The Wilderness Centre Climbing calls ¨vertical problem solving¨. Enjoy the countryside or using their indoor climbing wall while you learn the ropes of this highly popular activity.

Feel like a modern day Robin Hood at The Wilderness Centre Archery! Archery is one of the oldest activities around, and for good reason too. Used anciently for hunting and defense, these days one can enjoy this activity as a challenging and fascinating activity that improves upper body strength, confidence and most of all, aim!

They offering caving at four different sites which you can explore and enjoy mysterious underground caves, some even have rivers!
