We are located in Old Hutton, a small village in Cumbria county known for the large green fields.  With us, you can find the perfect session for you, choosing among clay shooting. axe throwing, archery, paintball, 4x4 driving adventures or rafting. As you can see, we have it all and we have it for you. 

Why are we considered a unique company in the region? Well, we are almost the only one who provides 4x4 driving experiences in the area and something that truly makes us different is our commitment to the environment. This is not a trend for us and not a saying. We calculate the CO2 that holding every one of our activities produces and, after a scientific study that indicates how much of this gas the oak forest that surrounds us is able to process and absorb, we choose those that are on the limit and those that the land is able to "accept". 

What about our group? Our team gets very strong training in order to provide safe and high-quality sessions.

And how can you arrive at our headquarters? Taking the M6 from the North. you must drive until you get to junction 37. From there, you'll be stepping into Old Hutton and, a few miles from the city center, you will find us. If you are taking the M6 South, you must take junction 36 and, then, the third exit that will take you directly to the A65 Road. What if you are coming from Kendal? Easy! You only need to spot the Holmescale Farm and Riding Centre and in a few minutes, you'll be arriving.

The Outdoor Adventure Company is also about watersport activities. We have the best rafting session in the whole region as we don't hold the sport as a way of having fun but as a way of taking out your inner sportsman and adventurer thanks to the race that we prepare.

Our headquarter is located in the small town of Old Hutton, in Cumbria county. The most special feature about us is nature. We are nestled in a 30-acre ground and we are surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Lake District, a venue that is not only one of the most famous places to do outdoor sports in England but one of the most valuable places for its natural greatness and diversity. In a single place, you can find mountains, rivers, lakes and forests. 

Because of this, we pay strong attention to environmental protection and, through actions like recycling, supervising the impact of our activities on the land and how we can change them to make them more eco-friendly, we take care of it. 

We use a rafting open canoe from the latest generation. They have been designed to be able to keep you afloat and to have a perfect balance. 

To reach this area, you can come from Kendal, go over Homescale Farm and Riding Centre or take the M6 from the North (drive through junction 37) or from the South (take junction 36).

At The Outdoor Adventure Company Quads, our quad biking tracks have been described as incomparable and the best in the region! Many of our clients return time and time again to experience quad biking in an exhilarating environment.

We have Polaris 400cc Quads, which are considered the best on the market for people despite their previous experience. At The Outdoor Adventure Centre, we believe in providing real-life experiences. And what can it be more real than a true battlefield to enjoy paintball? 

Taking advantage of the size of the land where we operate in Old Hutton, we have designed a field where you can find a great airplane, tanks and different decoration elements and features like if you were at war. 

In addition, our company is specialized in big groups activities, so you can bring more than 30 friends to spend a lovely paintball adventure with us. The equipment that we provide is the safest and it's the latest in the market. We have invested in paintballs that are softer than traditional in order to avoid damages or injuries. 

To take part in one of these sessions, you can reach us taking the M6 road and, depending on the direction, you only need to take junction 37 if you are coming from the North, or junction 36 if you are driving from the South. 

Apart from great equipment and field, we have the best team in the region. They all hold safety certifications and have received the highest-quality training that exists.

The Outdoor Adventure wouldn't be a true company if, among its offer, we didn't provide clay pigeon shooting. Considered as one of the favorite national sports, we have to take advantage of our privileged area in Cumbria. 

As part of our tradition, we try to avoid a strong impact on the environment and we do studies to check how our sessions may have consequences on the environment and only provide those that the forest can absorb in a responsible way. 

We are also well-connected by road. Thus, if you are coming from the South, you should drive via the M6 to junction 6 and, once you get there, you only need to take the A65 Road. If you, on the contrary, are driving from the North, just reach junction 7 and Old Hutton, the small town in Cumbria County, will be waiting for you and so are we. What if you are taking off from Kendal? In this case, you have to drive until you see the Holmescale Farm and Riding Centre.
