Welcome to Team Players Kayaking in North Devon. We offer a variety of kayaking instruction courses, including:

Introduction to Kayaking:

Get to grips with the basics and learn how to paddle efficiently. We breakdown each stroke into easy-to-learn parts. The course takes place at a variety of different sheltered water locations, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment.

Intermediate Kayaking:

This course looks at developing your basic paddling techniques by introducing more advanced and effective skills, in preparation for moving water tasks. We will cover dynamic forward paddling, how to prevent yourself from capsizing and basic rescue techniques.

Advanced Kayaking:

Develop your skills in order to enjoy moving water river trips.

Kayak Surfing:

This course provides fun for all the family. We will practice paddling on our durable sit-on-top kayaks on the North Devon Sea. Experience catching your first wave; the anticipation, the catch, the speed, and the splash!

River Guiding:

We also offer a kayaking guiding service for all the rivers in the South West. We provide a qualified guide that is adept at tailoring excursions to meet your needs.

Welcome to Team Players Kitesurfing. This popular watersport is rapidly gaining prestige and here in North Devon we have some of the greatest beaches for kitesurfing in the country. Our facilities have everything you need to get started!

What´s more, all of our instructors are British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) qualified and are fully insured.

Our lessons follow the BKSA water scheme, which is set out as follows:

• Basic Kite Skills

      Key points: land based kite flying, wind window, communication, signals, launch & land.

• Water Based Flying

      Key points: inflatables, rigging & pre-flight checks, introduce harness & safety release, water re-launch.

• Body Dragging

      Key points: going downwind, across the wind & upwind, one handed flying technique, balanced body drag, deep water pack down.

• Theory

      Key points: site assessment for land & sea, tides, weather, local weather patterns.

Welcome to Team Players Coasteering in North Devon. It is one of the fastest-growing, adrenaline pumping activities we have to offer. It consists of rock climbing, cliff jumping and swimming.

On your arrival, we will kit you out in all the right gear. There really is no better way to get up close and personal with some beautiful coastline areas.

You can choose between the following courses:

Introduction to Coasteering:

Our sessions take place at a variety of different locations along the North Devon Coast. There are jumps ranging from 2ft to 40ft! All sessions are lead by at least 2 qualified instructors, to make everything as fun and safe as possible.

Advanced Coasteering:

Our advanced coasteering sessions are challenging! Our instructors will take you to the lesser known spots in the area and you can expect even bigger jumps and steeper cliffs to tackle.

Welcome to Team Players Hiking in North Devon. We offer a variety of hiking courses, including:

Introduction to Navigation and Map Reading:

Learn how to use a map to its full potential! This course has been designed to help you get the most out of a map and compass by teaching you about pacing, timing and micro-navigation. You will never get lost again!

Expedition and Wild Camping Skills:

We provide overnight expeditions, which involve camping in the wild. Our qualified instructors will provide essential information on wild camping planning, preparation and execution.

How to get the most out of your GPS unit:

This course will show you how to use your GPS unit to its full potential! Our instructors will break down its functions into easy to understand steps. You will then have to complete a set course in order to practice your new found skills.

Guided Walks:

We have many picturesque guided walks available in and around the Exmoor National Park. We tailor each route to meet your needs.

Welcome to Team Players Climbing in North Devon. We offer a variety of rock climbing skills courses, including:

Introduction to Rock Climbing:

This course is ideal for your first attempt at rock climbing. We invite you to practice in a safe and controlled environment. You will learn the basic climbing techniques and enjoy this adventurous activity under the watchful eye of our qualified and experienced instructors.

Intermediate Rock Climbing:

If our introductory course gave you the climbing bug, develop your skills on our higher graded climbs. Learn to perfect your technique in order to make every move as effective and efficient as possible.

Advanced Rock Climbing:

If you are looking to take rock climbing seriously, this course will show you effective climbing techniques as well as how to set-up your own climbs, allowing you to practice in your free-time.

Learn to Lead:

This is our most advanced course and teaches you about all the different types of climbing equipment and how to use it correctly and, most importantly, safely. We will work on how to lead climb, belay up a partner and refine your technique and skill.

Welcome to Team Players Abseiling in North Devon. We offer charity abseils for those wanting to raise money for their local or favourite charity.

We help you create the opportunity to raise money in an extreme way! What´s more, our costs are minimal and we provide all the equipment needed, including:

• Harnesses
• Helmets
• Abseiling ropes
• Free listing on our website

All you will need to do is choose an appropriate location or building to descend!

Our qualified instructors will perform a risk assessment on your chosen venue before giving the all-clear. We can also offer alternative locations.
