Welcome to the Snowgoose Mountain Centre, based in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, the centre of outdoor fun! We are located near Fort William at the base of Ben Nevis with stunning views of the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Ways and we provide a wide variety of outdoor activities for all ages and abilities, groups included!

All of our instructors are experienced and qualified, and provide outstanding skill training for the following activities:

We will provide you with the skills and techniques you need to become confidence and competent in the great outdoors on your own. We can offer 1-to-1 guiding as well as 1-to-2 for a more personal experience.
All of the necessary equipment can be hired if you are looking to head off on your own and we also offer accommodation for those looking to stay a bit longer.

If you are looking to enjoy open canoeing, Snowgoose Mountain Centre Canoeing is a prime outdoor activity provider that can take you to scenic waters such as Loch Lochy or Loch Linnhe, with loads of islands to explore along the way. Our local and qualified instructors offer loads of different trips and can accommodate groups of all sorts.

With something on offer for everyone, Snowgoose Mountain Centre Kayaking offers exquisite kayaking experiences on a variety of stunning waters in the Scottish Highlands. We can take you out on the Lochs like Lochy, Sheil or Linnhe or rivers such as Lochy, Oich or Roy and Spean, while providing you with excellent training and guidance and we also offer sea kayaking!

Our kayaking is almost all year round with excursions during spring, summer and autumn. We offer the following paddling sessions for beginners to intermediate paddlers:

Snowgoose Mountain Centre Sailing´s location in the Scottish Highlands is an exquisite place to learn to sail. We offer dinghy sailing on the protected waters of Loch Linnge, with access to the open sea!

We own a small fleet of 16´ Devon Yawls (and a 21' Flying 15 Keel boat) which are good for both group sailing or for individuals and are good in all weather conditions. Our classes can accommodate up to 4 students and our instructors are all qualified, experienced and enthusiastic about sharing this fabulous hobby with others.

Snowgoose Mountain Centre Mountain Biking can offer groups a wonderful and scenic day of mountain biking in the Scottish Highlands. This is a splendid activity for all ages and we can accommodate beginners and intermediate mountain bikers, giving you excellent tuition and guidance as you hit the hills with us.

You can enjoy this is a full day excursion, or you can combine it with one of our other many activities. We supply everything for the activity, you´ll only need to come along with a sense of adventure!

We can cater to all sorts of groups, and families with children are more than welcome to come along. Please note we do need groups to have a minimum of 3 adventurers to in order to carry of the activity.

Rock climbing, especially outdoor climbing, is a magnificent outdoor activity which is both physical and mental. We at Snowgoose Mountain Centre Climbing offer climbing in the Scottish Highlands. We offer climbing for youth, beginners and advanced climbers, catering to each climber´s level and ability.
We offer the following climbing experiences:

• 1 Day Rock Taster Session
• Introduction to Outdoor Climbing
• Rock Improvers and Advanced Rock Climbing
• Introduction to Lead Climbing
• Climbing for under 18s.
• Introduction to Snow and Ice Climbing (winter months)

Come and enjoy the second fastest way to get down a rock face with us at Snowgoose Mountain Centre Abseiling. Based in the Scottish Highlands at the base of Ben Nevis, we know plenty of exhilarating locations to take you to enjoy the thrill abseiling. We offer our abseiling sessions combined with climbing so you not only get to enjoy going down, but you have to face the challenge of going up as well.

We offer the following courses for abseiling:

• Taster session and introduction to rock climbing and abseiling: a brief introduction to these rock sports.
• Rock Taster: this course will give you all of the skills you need to climb, as well as the opportunity to abseil down the crag.
• Introduction to Outdoor Climbing: a 2 to 3 day climbing course which will give you both climbing and abseiling training.

Snowgoose Mountain Centre Hiking, based in the Scottish Highlands, offers both summer and winter hiking and hill walking in some of the most picturesque locations in the UK. We offer guided excursions, courses and even navigation training that will have you confidence and capable out in the hills.
