Description of Sea Kayak Argyll Kayaking

Kayaks were created by the Inuit people hundreds of years ago as a means of transportation. However, the materials used were different, as kayaks were made of whale bones, driftwood and seal skin mainly. Kayaks were used mainly for hunting and fishing thanks to the silent aerodynamics of the kayak’s design.

Nowadays, kayaks are only used for sport and leisure activities, and also to enjoy beautiful frameworks of nature, such as the Cowal peninsula and the magical Isle of Bute in Scotland, well-known for being sea kayaking destinations. The beauty of this area is like nowhere else!

This is where we lead our customers on our kayak journeys, accompanied by expert and qualified professionals. Our guided and bespoke tours take place around this amazing coastline, where we can camp into the wild, fish from the kayak, and make fires on the beach.

Our courses cover from novice training to expert and improvement sessions. In addition, we also offer rescue and safety courses so that you can feel confident to go on your own!

Discover a new way to paddle your way through life and explore new locations on a beautiful and eco-friendly craft!
