We have been running adventure holidays since 1991 and we are an accredited member of the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). We cater for everyone including individuals, families, groups, companies and local authorities. No previous experience is required and you will be led by professional instructors.

Welcome to Proadventure Canoeing!

We offer a variety of canoeing opportunities including:

• Open Canoeing Taster: The perfect place to start. Start canoeing on picturesque flat waters around Llangollen and we will introduce you to the sport at a friendly pace.
• Discover Flat Water Canoeing Day: A detailed introduction that will get you hooked. We will start by looking at the equipment before learning how to control the boat.
• Discover White Water Canoeing Day: A fast track course to moving water. Having grasped the basic flat water skills, we will look at how to control your canoe in flowing waters.
• Explore White Water Open Canoeing: A 2 day adventure. We will help you get to grips with moving water and improve your self-confidence.
• Ultimate Open Canoeing: A 5 day adventure. The aim of this course is to give you a solid paddling experience.
• Wilderness Trips: Take a holiday in your open canoe.

Proadventure Kayaking is an established paddle sport provider.

We offer a variety of kayaking courses including:

• Kayaking Taster: A half session on flat water for novices. You will learn the basic paddling manoeuvres.
• Discover White Water Kayaking Day: A fast track course to moving water. We will work on balance control in the water and how to enter and exit the rapids.
• Explore White Water Kayaking: A 2 day adventure. You will learn a lot and do a lot of kayaking. It will be exhausting but well worth the effort and your paddling skills will improve greatly.
• Ultimate Kayaking: A 5 day adventure. You will experience paddling on rivers and lakes and even practice the Eskimo roll. It involves even more kayaking and even more learning!

Welcome to Proadventure Canyoning! It is the ultimate adventure sport and surprisingly satisfying. You will make your way up or down a narrow, deep cleft carved into the side of a mountain.

You can expect to:

• Wade through streams
• Swim
• Climb up raging torrents
• Jump into plunge pools
• Abseil down waterfalls

The exercises are limitless!

We also provide a well-deserved lunch to keep the adrenalin pumping.

We choose the best gorges available in North Wales, so that you can be sure of an authentic adventure.

There are two white wáter rafting sessions available at Proadventure Rafting.

• The Adrenalin Session takes place on the River Tryweryn. It is suitable for 12 years old+ and the water is graded 3 – 4. It is our most challenging session and you will need your wits about you as you tackle white water rapids such as the Ski Slope and the Graveyard.

• The Fun Session takes place on the River Dee. It is suitable for all the family, yet you must hold on tight during the thrills and spills as you paddle down the river.

Each session includes 4 runs and you will paddle approximately 1km. It is a thrilling adventure activity and well worth the effort.

Welcome to Proadventure Paintball! Our paintball sessions require a minimum of 6 persons and last for 3 hours. The package also includes a safety briefing and kit.

You will play about 7 different matches in 3 different battle zones!

Paintball is an authentic adrenalin rush; the aim is to outshoot your opponents without being hit. You will have to work together and build winning strategies.

We have been providing paintball for many years. If you are interested in a serious paintball site, we come highly recommended.

Proadventure Hiking explores the mountain ranges surrounding Llangollen. We will take you up the mountain Tryfan, which is a historic place that is sheltered by two rock monoliths at the top.

The views will blow you away. The terrain is steep and rocky but the hike is well worth the reward. There are many different routes up and we will decide which one is best for you on the day.

As well as enjoying the Welsh sights, we will inform you about mountain safety, navigation and personal equipment. A mountain leader will accompany you all the way.

• Explore mountain walking: A 2 day adventure that will enable you to put your skills into practice
• Ultimate mountain walking: A 5 day adventure that includes the local Berwyn and Arenig mountain ranges

Welcome to Proadventure Climbing! We are passionate about climbing and aim to help you reach your full potential. Our friendly, fully-qualified instructors are dedicated to their profession.

We have a variety of crags available within a few miles of Llangollen. They offer a wide range of climbs for beginners and experienced climbers. Furthermore, Snowdonia is just a few miles away, which has many climbing routes to offer.

The emphasis is on fun and team building. If you have a fear of heights we will encourage you, rather than force you to complete the climb. Ultimately, the decision is yours.

Welcome to Proadventure Archery, an established archery school. It is perhaps one of the best experiences you can have with history; Genghis Khan took over the world with his archery defensive and it made Robin Hood the man of legend he is today.

Archery is a skilled sport that requires:

It is a peaceful yet powerful activity.

Our archery taster session will show you how to shoot with skill and accuracy. You will soon be hitting the target every time with our quality re-curve bows.

Welcome to Proadventure Mountain Biking

We are based in Llangollen, in beautiful North Wales. We are conveniently located approximately 14 miles from Wrexham, and just 22 miles from the major cities of Chester. Manchester, and Liverpool. We offer practical Mountain Bike skills courses. We can cover the following essential points:

• Ascending techniques
• Descending techniques
• Cornering techniques
• Safety equipment
• Basic navigation
• Emergency repairs

Because everyones previous experience and personal ability differs widely, Mountain Biking is offered on a private basis, so that your instructor can tailor the course and content to suit your needs and ability, and we offer both half and full days.

Bikes and helmets can be hired if required.

 

Proadventure Clay Pigeon Shooting is an experienced shooting school. We have more than 30 years experience teaching!

You will be provided with all the necessary equipment including:

• Standard light-weight gun
• Radio operated traps
• 40 shots

You will also receive expert gun-handling tuition as well as safety and shooting practice.

It is a great event for hen & stag parties, and corporate events.
