In addition, we offer navigation courses, excursions and longer holidays. Our favourite spot in the UK is the Peak District however we also enjoy the Sierra Nevada in Southern Spain, Slovenia and the Pyrenees as alternatives.

Mountain House Holidays Climbing offers brilliant climbing sessions for new climbers, offering this activity in the stunning Derbyshire Peak District. Climbing is a wonderful way to get outdoors, active and to face and conquer new challenges and heights. Our climbing sessions are intended for those looking to start climbing and to develop outdoor climbing skills.

Our qualified and experienced mountain leaders have decades of experience teaching and climbing themselves. We offer full or half day climbing sessions that range from introductory sessions, taster sessions and training sessions to assist climbers to make the move from indoor climbing to outdoor climbing.

Mountain House Holidays Hiking offers guided walks and scrambles in the Derbyshire Peak District.  Regular programmes of guided walks and scrambles are always on offer, and we are contributors to the Peak District Walking Festival, special offers for groups, special events, birthday parties and celebrations.
