Mount Severn Activity Centre Kayaking is a great team building sport. We practice paddling on the River Severn using state of the art equipment.

You can expect a brief introduction to kayaking and the skills involved in order to paddle in a straight line, turn and stop.

Once you have all grasped the basics, we will introduce individual and group based games.

Our centre can also accommodate up to 30 people if you are interested in organising an activity holiday with Mount Severn Activity Centre Kayaking.

We tend to practice on flat water conditions. For more experienced paddlers, we have exciting white water rapids!

At the Mount Severn Activity Centre Climbing we have use of a disused limestone quarry in the Llanymynech Nature Reserve.

Climbing is mentally and physically challenging; we will push your boundaries so as to build your confidence. You will achieve more than you expected.

Our centre also provides comfortable accommodation for those who are looking for an activity holiday. Climbing is included in many of our adventure packages.

We cater for all ages and abilities. You are welcome to enjoy climbing individually or with a group of friends. It can be a great team building experience.

Mount Severn Activity Centre Archery enables you to enjoy the ancient sport of archery. You will learn new skills whilst playing individual and group based games.

Archery is a technical sport. It does not rely on adrenalin but rather a keen eye, patience and strength.
You can enjoy archery as an individual activity or as part of an adventure package.

We also provide activity holidays that include archery practice and tuition. Our activity centre is an exceptional place for exceptional events. We pride ourselves on our friendly and professional approach to activity breaks.

Experience the underground world with Mount Severn Activity Centre Caving. We will guide you through the mines as well as informing you about their history and geology.

We are an established activity provider situated in Powys, Wales. We welcome individual and group bookings. We pride ourselves on organising exciting days out as well as hosting special events such as corporate meetings and birthday parties.

Caving is an exhilarating experience that is suitable for everyone. Our expert instructors will plan your expedition according to the ability of the group. There are many challenging features such as tight squeezes, which are not suitable for everyone to try.

The Mount Severn Activity Centre Canopy is the ultimate high rope course. You will get closer to your friends or colleagues as well as having lots of fun.

Our special features include:

Leap of Faith: this is an individual challenge that consists of standing on top of a wobbly pole and leaping to catch a suspended buoy.

Jacob´s Ladder: in groups of 3 you will attempt to climb the giant suspended ladder together.

High All Aboard: you will have to get 4 members of your group standing together on a small platform that is 8 metres high up.

Wild Woozey: our most difficult challenge; 2 people aim to get as far along 2 diverging ropes as possible. You will have to rely entirely upon your partner.

We recommend our canopy course as a great team building event.

Mount Severn Activity Centre Abseiling offers the challenge of abseiling down a 15 metre rock face. If you have a head for heights, you may also enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

You can find us in Powys, Wales. Our outdoor activity centre is an established activity provider. The emphasis is on fun.

We organise corporate activites and events. The objective is to create a positive environment that depends on true team work. Abseiling is likely to be included in the package.

School and youth groups are also welcome to participate in abseiling. Our philosophy is ´learning by doing´!
