Welcome to Mendip Shooting Ground Clay Pigeon Shooting.

Clay target shooting involves shooting at disc-shaped targets, which symbolise pigeons. It is an internationally recognised sport with an Olympic status.

We use sporting shotguns and boast a selection to suit all ages and sizes!

Nothing compares with the excitement and satisfaction of hitting your first clay. Our facilities cater for the main disciplines, which are laid out in 4 purpose built bays.

There is also an English Sporting layout in the valley below our Club House.

Mendip Shooting Ground Clay Pigeon Shooting has more than 60 automatic clay traps, allowing us to present a variety of moving targets that are suitable for the absolute beginner to the most accomplished competition shooter.
