Description of Low Port Centre Canoeing

Young and old, everyone can enjoy a paddle on Linlithgow Loch, the Union Canal, the River Tay or on the Frith of Forth with Low Port Centre Canoeing.

We have a fleet of stable and reliable canoes to offer a great range of experiences from courses for juniors and adults and one day paddling events.

We offer Scottish Canoe Association Rainbow Awards courses for 8 to 16 year olds and British Canoe Union courses for adults, with fully qualified instructors ready to help you feel more comfortable and confident on the water to the point you can take on greater and more rewarding venues and challenges.

Description of Low Port Centre Kayaking

With the beautiful waterways of Scotland on our front door,  Low Port Centre Kayaking offers a huge range of kayaking experiences for young and old.

We offer a great range of kayaking courses led by fully qualified instructors as well as great one off experiences that everyone can enjoy with a wide range of canoes from general purpose kayaks to river and touring kayaks on the picturesque Linlithgow Loch, the Union Canal, the River Tay or on the Frith of Forth

Our junior courses are for those aged 8 to 16 years old and follow the syllabus set out in the Scottish Canoe Association Rainbow Awards running from level 1through 4 there are a huge range of skills to learn on varied waterways from flat water to rapids.

Adult courses follow the British Canoe Union syllabus, providing a nationally recognised system that will help you build you your skills and comfort on the water.

Description of Low Port Centre Sailing

Join us on Linlithgow Loch and experience the wind filling your sails when you join us at Low Port Centre Sailing.

As an official Royal Yachting Association training facility with its own loch to enjoy sailing on, we have seen many, many people come through our doors and enjoy this thrilling and very popular sport, including Olympic gold medalist Shirley Robertson!

We have a fleet of dinghies to training you in including Taz, Topaz, Mirrors, Magnos and Sport 16. The great selection of sailing vessels combined with our own training style means that everyone 8 years old to 80 can join us on the water for a great range of courses or trips further out to Loch Lomond or through the Forth Estuary to the sea.

Description of Low Port Centre Climbing

Join us at Low Port Centre Climbing for one of our most popular adventure activities which, originally a summer adventure is now an event we can run the whole year round!

We have a huge range of natural sights available to us including the stunning crags of Craigmore, Aberdour, Traprain and Benny Beg and fantastic climbing available at the quarries at Auchenstarry, Rosyth and Blackford. During the summer months we organise great extended days on the crags in Northumberland and we have our own indoor climbing wall at our great location.

All of our instructors are fully qualified and experienced, and will help you improve your skills on natural or manmade climbs regardless of whether you are a total novice or are looking for a real challenge.
