As a company located in the middle of Castlewellan Forest Park, a 450 hectares area in Northern Ireland where you can spot and listen to the beautiful treecreepers, and surrounded by the breathtaking 35-kilometre Mourne Mountains of French's song, we exist to share our passion for this land and the adrenaline of sport.

Taking the A25, you'll be reaching our headquarters. Here, you can find all the facilities that you can think of: wifi spots, green open areas where you can eat or have a drink with your friends or family, areas where you can store your things or even get change before or after your activity...

In addition, we are happy to say that we have adapted our structures to everyone, which means that is accessible. We remain open every day of the week and you can choose your favourite session among a great offer. We provide mountain biking, paddleboarding,  canoeing or coasteering to mention a few in small or big group sessions or even for your own.

Thus, we have upgraded our equipment and we have purchased electric bikes and other tools, becoming an eco-friendly and carbon-neutral enterprise. Also, Adventure Activity Industry Advisory Committee (AAIAC) has given us the well-known Adventuremark accreditation as proof of our strong standards related to safety.

It's a flat marine zone, filled with water from the hills, that is perfect for people no matter their abilities, skills or previous experience with canoeing.

Coasteering means jumping, climbing and swimming. You can climb the Mourne Mountains, hills that singer French used to write some songs during the early XX century. Climbing with Life Adventure Centre is great thanks to Castlewellan Forest Park. We are the Mourne Mountains' home and their 35 kilometers are the perfect venue to offer a climbing experience to everyone despite your abilities. We have different climbing levels, so our team will recommend which one is the best option for you keeping in mind your physical conditions, the weather, your own desire for adventure...

As this is a sport that requires a huge energy waste, we have designed our installations to guarantee comfort. You don't need to imagine how a hot shower must feel like after a climbing session because you can take one in our showers! You can also change your clothes or even have a nice meal around the green areas that we have, beholding the impressive hills or listening to birds singing. In fact, our land is the house of treecreepers, small birds with long peaks and very peculiar brown feathers.

At the different stages of the mountains, you will have a fantastic view of the park and, from the top, how amazing is the water of Castlewellan Lake and how splendid the forests are!

At Life Adventure Centre, we believe in the healing power of mountains and nature and, because of that, we propose a ride over a great range of terrain and through the amazing countryside when you join the team for a stunning off-road experience.  Castlewellan Forest Park is waiting for you then to show you the fantastic beauty of Northern Ireland and to make you connect with a land of ancient forests and enchanted hills.

For your own comfort, we have all the facilities that you may need to get ready for this biking adventure. You can reach our headquarter taking the A25 road and, once you are there, enjoy our free wifi points, our changing rooms, our hot shower areas. In and out, you'll begin to feel as your body and spirit relax.

All our mountain bike activities are available the whole week, from Monday to Sunday between 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening, so you can choose the hour and the moment that suit you the most. We have also got the latest bikes in the market in order to provide always the best and we are constantly adding technology to our services to finally become a zero-carbon company. The only mark that we want to leave is the tyre's! In fact, we have been given the Gold Award by Green Tourism UK, an organization that promotes ecotourism throughout our country, due to our work in that direction.
