We have traditional menus as well as summer barbecues, when the weather permits! High Lodge continues to grow and develop as a leading sporting centre.

High Lodge Fishing has two lakes, each approximately half an acre in size, on which you may practice fishing using a variety of techniques. One of the lakes is used exclusively by our holiday lodgers on fishing trips and the other lake is for members of High Lodge Fishing.

Both lakes contain a variety of species such as:

• Carp
• Tench
• Roach
• Rudd

Furthermore, the lakes attract a wide range of birds and wildlife. High Lodge Fishing membership enables you to enjoy our special facilities. The depths of the lakes are anything up to 6ft, with some weed growth along the bottom. We recommend using floaters as bait because once the water has warmed up the fish start to feed on top. Each lake supports up to 12 pegs which enables us to host competitions too.

All you will need is a current fishing license and you can enjoy unlimited fishing with High Lodge Fishing.
