What started off as a group of thrill-seeking friends has now evolved into a team of outdoor experts. Sharing our knowledge and leading exciting adventures for over a decade and half already.

We are a longstanding outdoor adventure company based in Brighton, but offering courses and experiences in a number of locations across the UK.

We offer a wide range of exciting outdoor activities and adventures for all ages and levels of experience including:

We aim to provide you with an unforgettable and fun day out in the outdoors. Our instructors are all qualified and highly experienced and will use their knowledge to teach you the skills you need in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our activities are fun for the whole family. We welcome complete beginners, the more experienced, individuals, and groups such as stag and hen parties, corporate events, and groups of friends who are just looking for an exciting day out!

Welcome to Hatt Adventures Abseiling

Our abseiling experience is exciting, fun and great for all ages.

No seriously - abseiling is open to people of all ages, fitness levels, and doesn't require any previous skills!

We have been running our abseiling courses since 2005 and teaching for events longer then that. Our instructors are part of the Mountain Training Association and are experts with the ropes.

Our abseiling experience is designed for complete beginners who have not abseiled before, those seeking a thrill, or those who are maybe wishing overcome a fear of heights, or maybe you are just wanting to polish up on your abseiling technique.

Abseiling sessions are run from a 33 ft purpose built abseiling tower which is situated near East Grinstead in Sussex, approximately 40mins from Brighton or 1 hour from London.

Our 'open' Abseiling Experiences run once a month and are suitable for individuals of all abilities. We also take private bookings for groups such as stag and hen parties, charity abseils or corporate groups.

Welcome to Hatt Adventures Climbing

Rock climbing is a brilliant outdoor sport that is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK, and there´s a good reason why!

Take a full-body workout and combine it with incredible views of the outdoors and creating new memories with your mates. It is no wonder rock climbing is becoming the most additive sport!

We offer courses for all levels of ability from absolute beginners to those looking to further improve their climbing technique. 

If you've never tried climbing before, why not book onto one of our rock climbing experience days to find out what it´s all about? 

Our mission is to mentor and provide our guests with the skills to become the best climbers they can be.

For more advanced climbers we have a number of courses on offer including Southern Sandstone, Improvers courses in Sussex, Kent and the Peak District and our lead climbing trips. The options are endless!

We also offer experiences for groups such as Stag and Hen or corporate events which are great fun and the perfect opportunity for team building.

Join the 2 million Brit's that go kayaking every year!

Whether you are new to kayaking or you are already an expert, you´re sure to find a course for you at Hatt Adventures.

We offer a number of exciting courses and river trips as well as our more advanced BCU certification courses (1, 2 & 3 star).

We ensure guests a fun day outdoors as they immerse themselves in this easy to learn sport. Did we mention that it is also a great way to sneak in a low impact workout?

Paddling outdoors will get your endorphins flowing, lower stress levels, and help you sleep better.

Try kayaking on lakes or for a bit more adventure, take a trip down river. You can even take the kayak to the ocean and get out on the waves! Guests love catching surf in the open water.

This is a great way to get out on the water and enjoy time with friends, family or colleagues. We also offer some great Hen and stag party or corporate days. It´s also a brilliant way to get active, social and acquire new skills!

Welcome to Hatt Advenutures Canoeing

Whether you are looking for canoeing training or a leisure paddling session, we will have a canoeing experience for you!

We are able to deliver canoeing for a wide range of skills from the absolute beginner to paddlers looking to perfect their technique.

Those looking for official qualifications can participate in one of our BCU Star Awards (1 and 2) which are taught by our experienced instructors and will give you all of the necessary training. 

We also run paddling experiences on various different rivers such as the River Arun, Rive Ouse, River Cuckmere and the River Medway.

A canoeing adventure is marvelous idea for an original day out with friends and family or for a special occasion such as a Stag and Hen do or a Corporate or Teambuilding event.
