Located at Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker, not only will you have a ball but you can get to experience a secret piece of history!

Their activities are suitable for children as young as 6 up to adults and with Quadding, Quad Bike Trekking, High Ropes, Paintball Target Shooting, Caving, Air Rifles, Archery and Water Zorbing to chose from, it will be a busy day of something for everyone! All activities are held at The Secret Nuclear Bunker in Kelvedon Hatch near Brentwood.

You can choose just one activity or combine a 2, 3 or 4 to make a day of it. The choice is yours.

Come for a fascinating underground adventure at Essex Outdoor Activities Caving and explore their manmade tunnelling system for an adventure you won´t want to miss out on. If real caving seems a bit daunting to you, this is a perfect way to experience it without going into the depths of the earth.

Suitable for children, this is a spectacular activity for all especially for special events like birthdays or Teambuilding events. They provide all of the necessary equipment, they just ask that you don´t come along in your Sunday best as chances are, you may be getting messy!
Look out for the ladders leading up from the secret bunker tunnels and listen carefully to see if you can hear any ghosts?

Disposable overalls and helmets are provided but please be aware you may still get dusty or dirty taking part in this activity. In particular we strongly recommend that you don’t wear new/best trainers/shoes as there is a fair amount of crawling involved.

All activities must be pre-booked. Minimum group numbers of 8 apply. Smaller group numbers can be accommodated at the 8 person rate. Minimum age 6yrs.

Come and enjoy heights at Essex Outdoor Activities High Ropes and feel the exhilaration of having the ground meters below you as you leap, jump and swing from rope to rope. High ropes courses are excellent for a challenge, personal growth and teamwork for each potential Tarzan.

Their high ropes course is suitable for all ages 8yrs+. Both children and adults can join in on the vertical fun. Every adventurer will start out at the Introduction level until they show that they are capable of moving on to more advanced levels on the ropes.

2 & 1/2 hours session time allows you to cover the 5 routes on three different levels. Zip wires, Climbing walls, Fan descender and much more you will no doubt have an unforgettable experience.

The high ropes session is extremely popular and can be combined with any of the other activities like quad biking to make a fun filled day.

Lunch or a BBQ can also be arranged for you for group bookings.

Welcome to Essex Outdoor Activities Quadding where everyone can come along for a brilliant quadding session and enjoy their 300 acres of fields and woodlands. Quadding is an exhilarating activity that will get everyone´s adrenaline flowing and bring out the best driving skills in everyone!

Their quads are all exceptional and new 4x4s and they offer both adult and child size. Bring along friends, families, work colleagues for Birthday Parties, Team Building Events or even Hen and Stag dos for a brilliant group activity that will be a smile to everyone´s face.

There are two types of quad biking sessions available to book:

Childrens Quad Biking. Ages 6-11yrs
Children can enjoy quad biking safely within an enclosed but exciting track with tight turns and a small hump to go up and over. Parties and group bookings can also enjoy a mini quad bike safari at the end of their session once they have mastered quad bike riding on the track. Medals and Party food also available.

Teenagers and Adults Quad Bike Trekking. Ages 12yrs+
A very unique quad biking experience is waiting for you to try. After being kitted up with helmets, been safety briefed and had a practise you are then taken out around 300 acres of fields and woods. A selection of different size quad bikes are available to suit all riders. You will get your own quad bike for the time booked and are not expected to take turns or share quad bikes! This is without doubt so much more fun than being stuck on a boring track especially as you can enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery and usually see plenty of wildlife like pheasants and deer.

No minimum group numbers apply but must be pre booked.
