The heart of Mendip Hill just 30 minutes outside of Bristol, we at Charterhouse Centre offer brilliant outdoor activities and adventure for groups of all sorts! We have rolling hills, caves and crags all on site as well as a stunning Nature Reserve, a large venue and stunning scenery.

We are delighted to host groups such as college, Corporate and Teambuilding events, families, schools and youth groups for an educational and entertaining experience. We can comfortable accommodate up to 45 adventurers with our facilities so no one needs to be left out!

Located in the Mendip Hills, our location is a stunning site for this adventure with a landscape rich in caves and crevices to explore not to mention fascinating geology. Welcome to Charterhouse Centre Mountain Biking! Mountain biking in our area is an absolute treat! Mountain biking is a brilliant way to enjoy the outdoors, being active and the astounding beauty of the Mendip Fat Tyre Trails. Located just a short half an hour from Bristol, it´s just a short way from outdoor fun!

We are delighted to cater to all sorts of groups, from community and school groups, Teambuilding and Corporate events to family and friends looking for an outdoor experience. Our Mountain biking sessions involve learning how to use the bike as naturally as possible!  and after our instructional course, each and every adventurer will take the to trails enthusiastically and confidently knowing how to plan their route, maintain the bike with a wide knowledge of riding techniques and skills.

At Charterhouse Centre Abseiling we boast a location of outstanding natural beauty where adventurers can come along for a brilliant abseiling experience. The Mendip Hills have rugged limestone landscape which is perfect for this activity, as well as our man made climbing facilities available all year round! Abseiling is an activity  that will take you to new heights and push you to the limit as you lower yourself down for the ultimate adrenaline rush.
