Welcome to Brenfield Farm and Estate

We offer horse riding lessons, TREC training, cross country training and flatwork instruction on your own horses from our estate in Argyll, Scotland, as well as Clay Pigeon Shooting.

We have been operating for over 25 years, and are run by mother and son team Tove and David. Tove is an international BHS TREC trainer and judge, and David was the BHS TREC World Champion in 2000, and the BHS TREC British Champion of 2008. With their expertise and experience you will be well looked after, and they take pride in looking after their guests and ensuring that you get the most out of your visit.

Our Clay Pigeon Shooting is a fantastic activity for groups such as stag and hen parties, birthdays, and groups of friends looking for a fun and exciting day out, and no experience is needed. It will give you a great chance to get outdoors and enjoy our beautiful location and the stunning countryside.

We are close to Oban, Lochgilphead and Tarbert, and are only a 2 hour drive from Glasgow.

We also offer livery, clinics, beach gallops and hacks, and feel there is something for everyone here no matter what your experience. The spectacular scenery will be enjoyed by everyone, and our location in the heart of the West Highlands will offer you history, culture, beautiful landscapes, lochs and rivers, and sandy beaches.

Brenfield is also a popular Horses Welcome location, and many horse owners bring their horses to Brenfield each year for their riding holiday.

During your visit, Brenfield staff are available to hire as guides to provide you with their knowledge of riding and the local area.

Our instructors are experienced and friendly, and will take you through the activity and make sure you have a fantastic shooting experience in a safe and fun environment. We have a wide range of traps and shotguns so we can provide you with everything you need.
