Welcome to Beyond the Edge outdoor discovery in the Peak District! We have been offering outdoor adventure for over 15 years from marvelous and professional leaders, offering bespoke adventure programmes on rock and land.

We offer the following activities:

• Rock climbing: We offer a wide variety of rock climbing courses with something for everyone.
• Hiking: We offer Mountain Leader Award (ML) and Walking Group Leader Award (WGL) training courses.
• Caving: We offer an Introduction to Caving and Vertical Caving courses
• Kayaking: BCU Level 2 Inland Kayak Assessment

Beyond the Edge Canoeing offers open canoeing and the opportunity to enjoy the relaxing and versatile watersport of Canadian canoeing. We offer BCU training and excellent instructors who are both experienced and skilled, delivering excellent instruction and a fun adventure.

Canoeing is a great watersport suitable for all ages and makes a great outdoor adventure for groups and pairs looking to get away from it all and experience natural up-close and personal firsthand.

Beyond the Edge Kayaking offers BCU coaching awards and training for those who wish to become kayaking instructors for this fabulous watersport. With over 15 years experience outdoor adventure, we pride ourselves on offering outstanding training on the water.

Our training takes place in the Peak District and this BCU Level 2 Inland Kayak Assessment is one day in length. Those who participate in this course will be qualified to lead others to kayaking on flat waters and this is a great step towards the Level 3 Moving Water Coach Award. Our instructors are qualified, experienced, friendly and fun, making this a fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors while becoming qualified.

If you are looking to become a qualified Mountain Leader, we at Beyond the Edge Hiking can lead the way! We offer official training programmes that will teach you how to safely enjoy the great outdoors. Based in the Peak District, we boast a fantastic location to do so!

We offer the following training courses:

• Mountain Leader Award:  We run this award in the Peak District and one of mountainous region of the UK. This training course gives training for those who are looking to be able to take groups to the mountains and the hills.
• Walking Group Leader Award: This course gives students the necessary instruction to be able to navigate and lead groups through open and wild areas (non-mountainous). This course is given in the Peak District

We offer caving courses and workshops for all levels of cavers and we offer one of the best areas in the UK for this activity!
We offer the following courses:

• Introduction to Caving: This course is a great introduction to underground exploration and it will provide you with knowledge and skills to enjoy this activity to the max!
• Vertical Caving: Learn to cave when there are underground crags to scale and descend.
• Caving Workshops: These workshops can be specially arranged for caving clubs and experienced cavers
