We are a multi-adventure provider in Alnwick, the heart of North Northumberland. We are an outdoor company with over 13 years of experience.

We offer a host of outdoor activities, and our enthusiastic and qualified instructors are here to ensure you get the most out of your visit. All of our activities are suitable for groups and families of any size. We always tailor each activity to suit the needs and abilities of those involved, whether they be complete beginners or those with some experience. Our activities include:

We are also home to the largest independent cycle store in Northumberland! We love arranging sessions for school activities. Adventure Northumberland can offer open canoe trips for the family or those with more experience in a river trip or sea kayaking. We are an outdoor activity provider with over 13 years of experience.

We pride ourselves in having multiple adventures to suit your interests, age and abilities. Canoeing is one of them.

Our canoeing adventures very much depend on ability and require minimum numbers to run, however, they are a great way to explore Northumberland from the water - see its charms, castles and coast, mix in some excitement as your canoe travels through rapids and waves. You have the makings of a great trip!

Open canoe trips run on rivers around the county and depend on water levels. Our canoeing sessions take place at various locations, along the Northumberland Coast. They can be weather dependent.

We run multiple outdoor adventures for people of all ages and abilities. We strive to have available different activities to cover different interests and hobbies. Kayaking is one of them.

Kayaking is a great way to explore the Northumberland Coastline; you will see all the charms our location has to offer from the water, including castles.

We can mix in some excitement too, depending on your ability, by travelling through rapids and waves. We provide a unique sea kayaking experience that is hard to beat. You can choose between:

Have you ever fancied rock climbing at one of Northumberland’s many crags? Whether you are an experienced climber or have never climbed before, we are here to help.

Adventure Northumberland Climbing is home to many great crags, allowing you to have fun rock climbing sessions. We have over 13 years of experience welcoming people of all ages and abilities. We guarantee you to enjoy the challenge of reaching the top with our climbing sessions!

With spectacular views for you to enjoy, exciting climbs and time for rest in between, this is definitely an activity you don’t want to miss out on.
As well as rock climbing Adventure Northumberland can also take you abseiling, where you can hang and descend from a viaduct that is 150ft above the valley!

We have enthusiastic qualified instructors ready to tailor our climbing adventures to your needs, preferences and expectations. They will show you how to fit a harness, tie knots and get the opportunity to climb several different pitches of mixed difficulty. No matter what your experience, we have a route to suit you.

You will need stout footwear, warm dry clothing, as well as some drinks and snacks to enjoy on the day.
