Our company was born in 1999 and was founded by Roy and Sophia Gibson. Since then, it has become of of the best center to practice a huge range of sports, such as white water rafting, canoeing or hiking. Without a doubt, Scotland has the best areas and regions to enjoy the outdoor life and the beauty of nature. 

We are part of important and prestigious associations like the British Canoe Association, which oversees and control everything related to canoeing;  the AMI or the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, where our coaches get their training to provide the best hiking experiences in the mountains. In addition, the Scottish Tourist Board has recognized our work with its 5-star Activity Provider certification. 

Our meeting point is near Fort Williams and to arrive here, you only need to take the A82 road and drive straight! A curiosity that we always love sharing with adventurers is that the water of this loch is mainly born on the River Garry, which from Thursday to Saturday, its flows grow, giving us the perfect conditions to enjoy the experience.

Roy and Sophia Ginson founded Active Outdoors Pursuits in 1999 and, since then, it hasn't stopped growing and spreading their passion for sports in the incredible venues of Scotland. As you know, our center has proudly used the best that this land has to offer: the greatness of its cliff, lakes and caves to jump, climb and swim. We're pretty close to Inverness, from where you can come taking the A9.
