Welcome to the Action Park, Essex.  Affordable high adrenaline outdoor activities for all ages (6) and abilities.  Professionally trained and qualifed staff.  Catering for families, schools, groups, corporate functions and hen & stag parties.  Based on the A127, with easy access to the M25, surrounding areas and only 30 minutes from London.

We have a wide range of activities consisiting of:

• Motorsports - Quad biking, off road rally buggies, 4x4 reverse steer, police jeep, haggland troop carrier and motorcross tracks.
• Shooting - target paintball, woodland paintball, archery and clay pigeon shooting
• High Ropes Course

We also cater for special needs and those with disabilites, there really is an activity for everyone to enjoy.

Welcome to Action Park Paintball - The most adrenaline fueled fun you can have with your friends!

Come and play the most adrenaline fueled game in the world at our Woodland Paintball site. Battle to complete our 8 themed missions, which will pitch you against your best friends! There is a fine line between victory and defeat and it will all depend on your ability to work well together as a team.

We also have a Target Paintball range, which enables you to test your aim using a variety of paintball markers. You can just turn up for this one rather than pre-book.

Welcome to the Action Park Quad Bikes in Essex. This is fantastic fun, takes minutes to learn and a lifetime to master!

We have 4 different courses to test your skills on, enabling us to cater for people of all abilities. There are more leisurely tracks to extreme courses that include jumps.

Our most extreme course can also be ridden by complete novices as you can take it at your own speed and we have a track designed especially for the kids.

Junior quads are available from 6 years old+ and adult quads are available from 12 years old+

The experience is similar to rally driving and karting combined and we guarantee that you will never have driven anything like our racing buggies before!

We have a variety of tracks to offer at our fantastic site. The best one being our 'Race Of Champions' track, which consists of 2 crossover lanes, bridges, twists, turns and plenty to think about if you are racing against your mates. The emphasis is on skill, not speed... one false move and you will be eliminated!

Welcome to Action Park 4x4 Reverse Steer.  It will be the weirdest ride of your life!

If you want to turn left, you must steer to the right, and turning right means steering left. It can be confusing, challenging and to make matters worse we have designed a demanding course for you to try and get around in one piece! Your friends are welcome to come along for the ride too.

Our blindford 4x4 has to be the funniest activity we offer at the Action Park, Essex, for age 17+ with full driving licence. Minimum groups of 10 + on week days and 6 + on weekends.

When is the event available?

It is available 7 days-a-week for groups of 6 – 10 people. There are arrive & drives sessions available too.

Is there a minimum age?

You must hold a full driving license to take part.

How long does a session last?

Each run lasts approximately 5 minutes… it´s as much as you can take!

What about the weather?

We have a choice of 2 tracks so the great British weather need not be an issue!

Target archery is now available at Action Park Archery in Essex!

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Robin Hood, or perhaps you are merely a Little John, we can put your skills to the test! Our archery event is suitable for everyone, whatever your stature, ability, and age you will love the chance to learn how to shoot arrows at our fantastic venue.

With a bow in hand and a quiver full of arrows, you will be well on your way! What´s more, our qualified instructors will be on-hand to teach you how to those arrows accurately. We hope that you hit that all elusive GOLD!

This activity is great for schools and groups, Stag and Hen dos, and Corporate and Teambuilding events.  This is an activity that does not depend on size or the typical sporting abilitiy and it is great for all walks of life! We also provide courses in Archery as well as key support, tuition and assessment for GCSE, AS and A2 Level Archery.

If you have ever wanted to try clay pigeon shooting… now you can with our new, fully equipped shooting ground!

We are proud to announce that we have secured the services of a professional clay pigeon shooting instructor and can organise corporate events.

Visit us for a professional shooting experience and a memorable day out. We offer the Clay Pigeon Shooting, CPSA Certificated Shotgun Skills Courses, 2 day course with This is a structured competency, safety and skills course recognised by the sport's governing body, CPSA, Clay Pigeon Shooting Association.

The course covers all the necessary information you will need to know when learning how to Clay Pigeon Shoot and when applying for a shotgun certificate.

The course will be split over 2 days and will consist of 3 modules.

Welcome to Action Park High Ropes, a fabulous and traditional high ropes course with loads of obstacles and oodles of adrenaline. Our high ropes course is great for individuals and groups alike and an action session of fun high above the ground.

Our course was built and designed with the following obstacles:

• Abseilling

• Power fan descender
• Jabobs ladder
• Zip wire
• 3G swing
• Crate stacking
• High all aboard
• Leap of faith
• Beam walk
• Heli ladder

Groups can use the 3 key elements of trust, communication and empowerment  to work together and build confidence and improve teamwork skills. All of our sessions begin with a safety briefing and all of the necessary gear is supplied.

This is an excellent activity for groups of friends and family or special events like school excursions, Hen and Stag dos or Teambuilding and Corporate events. Please note that there is a minimum age of 6 required and the maximum weight for the zip wire is 16 stone.

Welcome to the best Rally Driving Experience in Essex with Action Park Rally Driving in Wickford in Essex! This is a high octane adventure which is great for fans and non-fans alike of motorsports. This experience will teach you how to handle a Peugeot 205gti in real rally environment!

Every driver that gets behind the wheel will have a full safety briefing and then be accompanied around the track by one of our instructors in the passenger seat. You will learn various rally driving techniques such as how to steer, negotiate corners and bends.

This activity is run for a minimum of 8 people and lasts 4 hours. Participants must be over 18 and be holders of a valid driver´s license.
