Ace Adventures is an outdoor experience operator located in Moray, Scotland that offers exciting outdoor activities and camping in the beautiful landscape of Scotland. You’ll find us on the banks of the River Findhorn, one of the most significant rivers in Scotland which is the setting for our most popular activity: white water rafting.
Aviemore, adventure capital of the Cairngorms, isn't far away, and neither are areas like the Moray Firth and Perth and Kinross. This means that we’re perfectly placed to provide outdoor experiences of all kinds from rafting to canyoning, and canoeing and kayaking to paintball.
Our founder, Jim Davis, is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced outdoor guide, and he heads a team of hand-picked leaders and instructors. We are members of the International Rafting Federation and we hold a TripAdvisor 2018 Certificate of Excellence.
Our site is in a beautiful natural area near the village of Relugas. It’s the perfect place to spend a few days and we have plenty of camping options that allow you to do just that. We also run yoga classes at the campsite and have plenty of spaces to chill out or be social.
We are your one and only for an amazing trip to the Highlands!
All our reviews are verified. 100% of customers have enjoyed this activity
Had a great day with this company, the wild canyoning was a new one but really good. There were some challenging moments and there were times when you could make it more challenging depending on your preference. I enjoyed them so much I did a further day's activity with them.

Let's check all the facts that we need for you to finally come to Moray, Scotland, to practise canoeing with us!
First, what do we use for practising the activity? At Ace Adventures, we believe in making things easy, so we bet on inflatable boats because they are easy to use, more manageable (great news for beginners!) and with better stability than traditional canoes. You will be paddling on your canoe or kayak without effort and you'll be floating along River Findhorn without even noticing it.
Ok, we know the place and the main tool that we'll need. What else do you need to know related to equipment? Safety items, like life jackets, and clothes for keeping you comfortable and dry are included, you have to remember that you should bring personal stuff like towels and the oldest, but most comfortable, pair of shoes. Your feet will be very happy at the end of the day when you return home!
And how are you supposed to reach River Findhorn? For your own tranquillity, you don't need to get there on your own. You can get on a plane, land at Inverness Airport, get a car or a taxi to the meeting point and, from there, we'll take you to the activity area.
You want to start the session as soon as possible, but...? But you will right after you have changed your clothes, which takes around 30 minutes, and after you have received a briefing about general rules. Then, let's the adventure begin!
Do you need more information about the place where we are? That's a great question because nature is a national treasure here in Scotland, but in Moray, we have the best conditions and that's why you can practise canoeing like anywhere else. River Findhorn is that long that it has different parts and stretches. For instance, Randolph's Leap is the best zone for beginners, because it's a very calming area of this fluvial watercourse.
When is the best time of the year for practising canoeing? Though canoeing and kayaking are stunning sports, we always recommend that you come at the early stage of Spring because it's when rain has finally stopped and the currents are at their best for watersport activities.
One last and a good reason to choose us? We've been certified by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), which means that we have and that we follow all safety standards to provide an excellent outdoor experience. Your safety is a must for us and that's why we keep our standards up!

You don't mind getting wet, you want to practise a multi-sport activity which includes jumping from cliffs, swimming on beautiful rivers, climbing mountains as high as buildings and you want to do it all during the warmest months of the year (from April to October), you definitely need to try our canyoning sessions in Moray, a popular place in Scotland thanks to its environment and landscapes; or in Perthshire, a county at 49 miles away from Edinburgh.
Who can come? Anyone who is 13 years old or up. No previous experience is required, so beginners are more than welcome. Apart from the activity itself, it's important that you know that we are in a very privileged community: River Tay is one of our backgrounds and if you don't know, it's the longest in Scotland; and Allt Aireimh, another river in the Scottish Highlands, too. We have picked up these places because there are 45-foot waterfalls, so exhilarating is how we sum up what you will feel while trying the adventure.
To get here, most people choose the plane because Inverness Airport is not far away, but you can also drive. We put at your disposal our minibuses, which will take you from the meeting point to where activities take place.
Equipment is easy to get at home: towel, swimming suit and comfortable pair of shoes. Here, we have special safety equipment for you, like the rope that you must wear.
A key fact for you to know about us is that our team has been educated by UK Canyon Guides (UKCG), which is a great association that acts as the canyoning reference in our country. Another difference that you can find with us is the wildlife of our location. If you are a deer lover, you will be pleased to know that you can spot them around. We are also in the land of Blaeberry, Scottish blueberries, a fruit from Highlands pine forest that you will love eating.
Ace Adventures is waiting for you to come!

At Ace Adventures we have the best ingredients for you to practise rafting. Let's start, so you can check it's true.
Where are we? In Moray, a Scottish county that is not crowded with tourists. To be more precise, we're mainly going to be rafting on the River Findhorn, one of the longest in Scotland and surrounded by the best natural features of hills, water and vegetation for doing this sport.
How can you get here? Easy! We are close to Inverness Airport and you can come by car or taxi and, from our installation, we will take you to the adventure area where you'll be practising the activity. In addition, if you want to explore the area, you can go and visit Cairngorm Mountain, a beautiful hill part of a great national park where people usually enjoy hiking or snow activities.
What else do we offer? We have accommodation available: a vast place for camping, which is perfect for bringing your family, your friends and your beloved ones to reconnect with one another and to be in touch with nature.
What do you need to bring apart from yourself? A towel, a pair of shoes that you don't mind getting dirty or wet and your swimming suit. The rest of the equipment is included and we even give you a nice and light refreshment.
And the most important thing: which rafting activities do we offer? 5 different options, from white water rafting and cliff jumping, which will allow you to spend a few hours on the water and have an exhilarating experience when you jump from the cliff; or River Tummel Rafting, an activity that takes place in Pitlochry, a town which lies at the feet of the already-mentioned river. Age and experience are not important for us, because we have designed all these options for you to find the one that suits you the best.
We also have river tubing, which is an activity pretty similar to general rafting, but with the difference of the single doughnut-like ring that we use.
Because of these, we must encourage you to discover everything we have just said and here is why:
Our pride as a company is not only on our team, on our long experience (we've been working since 2006) or on our many recognitions like the one that TripAdvisor gave us praising our activities, but the unique places where our activities take place
We know that every place has its magic, but apart from being a Scottish natural treasure, we're also a historical zone. For instance, the River Findhorn, the same we've mentioned before, was the heart of Thomas Henderson 1932 book The Findhorn, where poet praises the beauty of this Scottish watercourse or it has been acclaimed by Charles St John too, who drew the area at the beginning of XIX Century claiming that there was no other place in the world as beautiful as this one.
This reason is enough for you to come and choose our company, but we have one good reason to finish and that's that we'll see the Dughall Mor, considered the largest tree in the whole United Kindom for years as well as one of the most beautiful according to prestigious newspaper The Guardian.
See? We're the best company to trust and practise rafting!

Bungee Jumping in Perthshire is great for several reasons and we know that you've been wanting to read this:
We are in the best place of the United Kindom for this sport because we are the one and only point that it's always available and open in the country for live the experience (that's a plus to keep always in mind!).
What do we need for bungee jumping? Bridges, indeed! And we have River Garry Bridge, which has been considered one of the best points for practising the sport thanks to the orange-leaves forest that is around us and the 40-metres of fall that you will enjoy.
What do we have at Killiecrankie Visitors Centre, our meeting point? Apart from local-ingredient refreshments and toilets open during the whole day, we are close to Soldier’s Leap, a historical place where a soldier jumped almost 6 metres to escape from the Jacobites back in the XVII Century (see? History also shows that we're the best place for bungee jumping!).
But our main difference from others that will make you come here is, as we said, that we're the only place in the whole country that is always open for bungee jumpers!
We are the best company in Moray, Scotland, for you to practise kayaking. Why? Because we practise it on the River Findhorn, one of the longest watercourse of our country, and this land's conditions cannot be offered by others. It has different scratches and paths, so we can adapt the activity to your needs or to your previous experience. From flat areas where kayaks seem to go by their own like Randolph’s Leap to places like Daltullich Bridge, where water runs low, but you gain speed and feel that exhilarating emotion that only kayaking can provide.
We use inflatable kayaks because, despite your abilities with the sport, we have found out that they are the best for everyone thanks to their easy-way of using and managing.
In addition, when we say that everyone is welcome, from beginners to more experienced kayakers, is because you don't need to be able to swim to come and have fun with us. Our team is well-trained and is well-prepared and we all have been trained for keeping you safe. Our equipment, which will be provided once you have arrived, is the best too and we keep ourselves on constant training to give you the best tuitions and to help you get the best kayaking style for you to take advantage of your time here.

At Ace Adventures we have always believed that sport is a way of letting your stress go and that's precisely what Paintball will provide.
What do you need to know about our company to know that it's the best for you?
First, that our paintball ground is in Moray, Scotland, a town that is close to Aviemore, a town in the middle of incredible Cairngorms National Park, and Inverness, a city known in recent years for being the stage of the TV show Outlander. From Aviemore, you can reach our installations via A940; or via A96 from Inverness.
We are located in a privileged zone, that's why we have chosen Tippman guns, a very respectful tool because they don't use CO2 for working, but air, so we keep in mind our impact on the environment.
Our company is also part of the British national paintball association, the UK Paintball Sports Federation, so we don't only have high standards on safety and professional skills, but we try to promote paintball in our country and abroad for its incredible benefits on health. We also have recognition by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) because we take seriously our team's training and the safety of everyone who comes to have fun with us.
As you know, any paintball field is not suitable for this sport and that's why we've been praised by TripAdvisor with a certificate of Excellence. In the end, we have designed a playground, taking advantage of our local natural features, in an open area for you to have space and feel comfortable while playing and be able to talk with your colleagues to establish your strategy. We have put items strategically around the field, so you can cover and hide too!
It is common that each player shoots about 100-500 shots per session, but you can reach 500 to 1000 shots with us, which is actually what any player should get when playing.
