There’s nothing like the adrenaline rush you’ll feel when biking down a slope, watching the trail unwind in front of you and trying to anticipate your next move. Not only is the thrill unmatched, but it is an incredible way to get fit and improve your cardiovascular fitness in an enjoyable way – either solo or with your loved ones. Here are our top 5 reasons why you should go mountain biking in the UK!
1. Escape from everyday life
When you're mountain biking, you have no time to think about that dispute you had with your mum, the new assignment your employer imposed at the last minute, or what you're going to do about that weed bed in the back garden. Biking is a great way to get away from it all. When you're riding your bike, all you can think about is the bike and the journey. When should I go mountain biking in the UK?

Ideally, you also want to avoid going around rainy days, as this will wet the terrain and make it harder for you to manoeuvre – but if you’re more experience and looking for even more of a thrill then bike away! For those of you less confident in your abilities, we would suggest going in the mid to late spring, summer and autumn for an incredible way to de-stress!
