Kite Hut

Welcome to the Kite Hut, based just outside Ashford in Kent, where you can learn to kitesurf on Camber Sands or Greatstone Beach in East Sussex and Kent, which are wonderful beaches with shallow waters and long beaches. Our kitesurf lessons are 1 or 2 day courses where you will learn how to handle the kite and ride the waves on the board.

For large groups and clubs Kite Hut will travel anywhere in the UK and have been known to use the great uncrowded beaches at Le Touquet and Berck in Northern France.

Our instructors are all BKSA qualified and we teach a maximum of 2 students at a time to ensure the best experience and progress as well as top safety. All of our equipment is top of the line.

Our lessons cover the following topics:

• The basics of power kite flying
• Beach power kite
• The basics of power kite flying with water safety
• Kite set up and pre-flight revision
• Flying the Kite with launching and landing
• Controlled body dragging
• Emergency and rescue techniques
