Welcome to Witherslack Hall Equestrian Centre

Based in The Lake District, one of the most beautiful parts of England, come and join us for rides through woodland, quiet country lanes, on the fell, or in our large, sheltered weather arena.

Our ride leaders and instructors are all well qualified and experienced, and our horses are well mannered and a pleasure to ride.

Facilities

• We have 30 indoor stables and stalls for our school horses and liveries
• A small area, ideal for children and beginners, or lunging and breaking in young horses.
• A large, floodlit arena, for both lessons and liveries to use
• Summer grazing
• All-weather winter turnout area

Our stables are arranged around a cobbled yard and schooling menage in magnificent Victorian Farm buildings situated on a private estate in the beautiful Winster valley overlooking Whitbarrow Scar and the Kent Estuary.

We offer many varied rides through very old woodland, a small private fell, along quiet country lanes and through farmland. We can stop at the village pub for a hot toddy on a cold winter's day, or relax outside the pub on a warm summer's evening before meandering our way home as evening falls.
