Springhill Farm Riding Stables

We offer you a warm welcome to Springhill Farm Riding Stables.

Set in the hilly landscape of the borderlands between England and Wales, we are an equestrian centre with endless opportunities for off-road horseback trekking and hacking on our doorstep. You’ll find us in the Ceiriog Valley, equidistant between Llangollen and Oswestry in Shropshire. Here, views stretch across the Welsh heartlands towards the Berwyn Mountains and the long-distance Ceiriog Trail follows the contours of the land.

We provide a range of horse riding experiences, including lessons, treks for beginners and hacks for more experienced riders. We have routes of different lengths to suit everyone’s itinerary, some of which take us past traditional pubs. We also organise multi day riding holidays for teenagers and adults.

We are proud to be approved by the British Horse Society (BHS), as this means that we place a premium on the quality of our services and the safety of our horses and riders. And that’s only natural, being a small, family-run business with a lifelong love of horses.
