Shilstone Rocks Stud and Riding Centre

Welcome to Shilstone Rocks Stud and Riding Centre!

We are a British Horse Society Approved riding centre with a Local Authority Licence. We provide riding on beautiful Dartmoor, and our service includes lessons, hacks, treks and livery. We are also a prize-winning stud farm with many horses, mares and foals. 

We can tailor rides to individuals and to suit your ability and needs. We welcome complete beginners as well as more experienced riders, and also groups and families.

If you are a beginner you will receive instruction before and during your ride, and more advanced riders will have an assessment lesson in the arena. Our team of instructors are all experienced and qualified and will accompany you on all rides, and will provide any advice and instruction you might need.
