Sherwood Riding School

Our riding school is situated in a breathtaking environment surrounded by nature, in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire.

Riding a horse can be a versatile experience for both adults and children: a peaceful and carefree stroll that will reveal you the magnificent richness of the horse riding world and will help you connect with nature, or an energetic and intense activity where you will face new and stimulating challenges.

Horse riding is the perfect activity to release some adrenaline when you are stressed: once you are up on a horse’s back you let go of all worries. And it is also an incomparable way of seeing the world through new eyes.  The woods have never been so captivating!

Your children will develop their sense of responsibility and boost their confidence while making new furry friends!  Horse riding is not only fun for children but it actually helps them make durable bonds with their horses. New abilities like learning how to steer a horse, jump a fence or dodge an obstacle will help children progress both physically and mentally.

We offer shared lessons as well as private tuitions, including also shorter lessons for younger riders. A horse livery is also at customer’s disposal: your horse will be groomed with love and treated well.
