Gransha Equestrian

With Adrienne Stuart at the helm since its founding over 3 decades ago, Gransha Equestrian is a riding centre and livery yard of the highest quality. We are set on the Emerald Isle, among the green fields of County Down. Roughly equidistant from Bangor, Newtownards and Donaghadee, we are blessed with a diverse community of regular riders and welcome newcomers and visitors regularly.

We have a regular timetable of group lessons from the youngest to the oldest rider and the novice to the expert. We hold British Horse Society (BHS) approval, which is a name to trust when it comes to professional, effective and enjoyable tuition. We have about 42 acres of land which includes lots of pasture in addition to indoor and outdoor riding arenas, ensuring we can stay in the saddle whatever the weather. 

When we’re not delivering lessons, we’re busy with other equestrian activities, including dressage and showjumping competitions, working hunter events and riding in exciting locations like the beaches of Northern Ireland. And that’s leaving time for looking after the horses, running a livery service and staying on top of the emails!
